The Sisters of Morrissey "Give Me Time" (audio from 2003)

The Sisters of Morrissey tackle "Give Me Time" - being as faithful as possible to the version on Memory Palace by Billy Mackenzie & Paul Haig – engineer Steve Garland also handles vocals @ the end of this. More info at: the_sisters.tripod.com/ & www.myspace.com/thesistersofmorrissey

and here's this blurb: The Associates song is called "Give Me Time" and features Bob Banasik on bass, Dave Smith on drums, and Rick Stein on guitar, as well as Sean handling the bulk of the vocals (aided by the able bodied Steve Garland tackling the last section as well as engineering). Availability is (in 2010 - Non existent), BUT we suggest signing up with associates@yahoogroups.com if you are keen to get info on those guys. The disk was called "Affectionate Bunch (Vol. 2)" (a play on the Associates song "The Affectionate Punch") and features e-list members ("the bunch", see how that works?) and their sometimes very brilliant contributions. The Chameleons session from 2003 which can be seen on youtube (doing MAD JACK) brought out an expanded veterans pool, with Mike Jetton joining Rick, Bob, Dave and Sean for the recording session.
