The year is 1992. The recession is still ravaging the economy. The S & L crisis and BCCI scandal are fresh in the minds of the people. Shawn Davis is playing a yuppie whose stock value has reached zero and the bills are due. He throws caution to the wind and escapes the Holliston "Metrowest" in his Corvette. Many interesting thoughts and imagery enter his racing mind as he races westward.
