Von and Kay Schmeirdo are two space aliens who pay a visit to earth in 1877, attempting to save their galaxy from apocalypse. Von speaks "perfectly modulated" English and Kay is a charismatic enigma, but their planet's salvation depends on the cooperation of the human race. Von and Kay don't quite see it that way.
