00:01A loss have endured one of the toughest weeks in their recent history, losing to their bitter
00:11rivals Lille in the Northern Derby and then suffering a record loss in the Champions League
00:19here a few days ago against Como.
00:28Really interesting to see that the under pressure loss coach Yannick Kauzak has brought a couple of
00:35veteran players into the team tonight, Marseille though have taken the lead
00:39with less than 90 seconds played, a horrible mix-up at the back for Lille
00:47and if they were hoping that tonight would be a fresh start well things go from bad to worse
00:51a shake of the head for Yannick Kauzak the coach
00:58it is already 1-0 from Marseille and it is a gift from the lost defense and how many times
01:04have we
01:04said that in the last few days a simple back pass by Jonathan Grady
01:12and Samson Baidu wasn't expecting it, Robert Rieser wasn't even paying attention
01:17and Amin Guiri gets another early goal, on target again
01:24L'Anse nil Marseille 1, what about that for a start to this match?
01:29players watching on from the bench this evening, some of them who started during the week and were dropped from
01:35the team tonight
01:39here's Soto Kauzak the veteran for Florian Thauvin looking to cut it back from the byline
01:44and he has at least won his team, the first corner kick of the game, Soto Kauzak to Thauvin
01:51and it came off the knee of Jeffrey de Lange the Marseille goalkeeper, the ankle in fact
01:57this is Mathieu Udall with the cross, good delivery and it was attacked really well by Thauvin, thumbs up from
02:04him
02:11getting up to Thauvin once more, everybody back from Marseille, they have the early advantage they can afford to try
02:17and soak up the pressure and hit the home team on the break, it's a good cross in
02:21and the header from Mathieu Udall is why, that's a lot better from lost
02:29some cause for optimism perhaps for their suffering supporters
02:36Garcia with the ball in, might just fall here for Paixat who controls, thinks about the shot and in the
02:42end
02:43slips it wide in the post as Marseille substitutes Lucon, thumbs up from Paixat out to Thauvin on the right
02:51Florian Thauvin the former Marseille player
02:56inside
02:58from Titraoui and Soto Kauzak pounces on that
03:02Florian Soto Kauzak good cross, Thomas Hedder it's 1-1
03:06that's much more like it from loss
03:11and as much as you can of course criticize the way in which they lost that early goal you have
03:15to salute the
03:16way that they've responded to falling behind
03:25Florian Thauvin leading by example, Florian Soto Kauzak the veteran leading by example to
03:32pouncing on that loose ball in between the several Marseille defenders who weren't reactive enough
03:39takes out a really good cross and Thomas attacks it brilliantly albeit he is completely unmarked
03:44at the near post
03:47and the player recently shaping up for a really good game
03:55free kick coming in trying to surprise Robain Rieser
04:11the player who's a very influential member of the squad in the dressing room in that great season he had
04:17last year but hardly ever started again while he's starting tonight
04:22Torgan Azar giving it to Soto Kauzak lays it back for the shot from Titraoui from the edge of the
04:27box
04:28never really caught hold of it the Algerian
04:39nearly again for Marseille well this is
04:45remarkable
04:47cross coming in and the touch by Guiri off the crossbar
05:02Long's showed that great reaction they don't want to fall asleep again they've conceded the corner
05:09cross by Pai Chau and Amin Guiri attacking it in between the two lost defenders
05:15prodding it goalwards and
05:19Harit takes it the outswinging delivery he's going to come out to Pai Chau still alive here
05:24Amdeli hooking it back towards goal
05:28Amdeli side midway through last season
05:30didn't make a big impression
05:33after joining the club he grew up as a Marseille fan as so many kids do here in France
05:38with all the other players who departed his experience in the midfield is
05:42precious for them here's De Lange
05:45oh Pai Chau has given that away great chance for Longson
05:49the save
05:51from De Lange to Danaiti Tawi
05:55well we saw a gift at the other end of the opening seconds of this match Pai Chau handing that
06:00one on the plate
06:01to Yacine Titawi but he shot straight at De Lange it's a good stop
06:06lots of football still to be played tonight Marseille with the free kick
06:09Hoibier lofting it forwards
06:16away by Azar and the halftime whistle goes and it's been a thoroughly absorbing game of football
06:22started in the worst possible fashion for Lange but they have come back from that really well
06:28Lange and Guiri second minute opener from RSE
06:46at home this season as we get underway in the second half
06:51of course one of those was that horrible night here against Como on Wednesday it's impossible to avoid the subject
06:58also lost to Lorient in the league and to Sporting in the Champions League too
07:06just three losses here in the whole of last season
07:13they won every other game played at home under Pierre Sage last season
07:21Abdul Hamid the edge of the penalty box lays it back for the shot
07:24and Titawi trying his luck again but De Lange saves low down
07:30he should have scored at the end of the first half that was a much harder chance it was probably
07:34just
07:34why Dara's lost that was a bit slow to react to that this is Abdelhi from RSE
07:39Paixão Igor Paixão with a shot lets fly it took a deflection
07:46probably should have done better there the Brazilian
07:52see it from this angle it does graze the back of the loss defender Jonathan Grady but
08:03here is Weyer
08:06to get it back from Amin Areit Weyer continuing his run
08:13Weyer's high hanging cross Paixão brings it down Paixão is overhead it would have been
08:19quite the spectacular goal
08:31Targon Hazard just looking to
08:34hold it up and then sporting the run of the veteran Sotokar on the far side he's 36 now
08:40Florio Sotokar it's a great ball in from him though from the veteran looking for the runner Mathieu Udol
08:47usually it would be Udol supplying the cross himself but what about that for a sprint forward
08:51from his own half for Mathieu Udol into the centre forward position
08:58Sotokar with a good cross Udol not really able to make the connection
09:03strange old season for Marseille of course they beat Strasbourg 4-0 on the opening night of the campaign
09:10they had five straight losses four in the league plus
09:154-1 thumping away to Besiktas in the Europa League
09:21club in crisis when they went into the last international break
09:26bounce back from that pretty spectacularly
09:29here they come again Marseille looking to grab a winner Guiri should have scored but it has been turned in
09:34at the back post
09:41and the Marseille players go across to celebrate with the traveling fans it was Amdala who got the last touch
09:51after Guiri passed up the golden opportunity to score his second of the game
10:01and maybe it is going to be another defeat for Yannick Kauzak in Lens the Lens coach shakes his head
10:07Angel Gomez and Paixão combining Guiri had to score Amdala did
10:18Guiri denied by the Baidu block but it's the 20 year old Kilian Abdala who tucks in his second goal
10:26of the season he scored on the opening night of the campaign against Strasbourg and he's done it again
10:32here what a big goal that is and there is the full-time whistle Marseille have won here in Lens
10:38tonight it's
10:39been a brilliant week for them and their resurgence continues as they climb all the way up to fourth
10:46in the Ligue 1 table but the boos around the stadium tell another story a horrible week for Lens
10:54massive three points on the roll for visitors who come into one of the toughest environments in
10:59French football and while they walked away with a hand foot
