Snakes on a plane? This is no ordinary in-flight emergency! In this special inside look at 9-1-1: Nashville, a terrifying situation unfolds when a serial killer known as the Pharaoh unleashes a horde of venomous Egyptian cobras aboard a passenger plane.

Among those caught in the airborne nightmare is Dixie, played by LeAnn Rimes. With deadly snakes loose thousands of feet in the air, the passengers face a terrifying threat with nowhere to escape. It's an extraordinary emergency that takes the danger on 9-1-1: Nashville to new heights.

00:00As you can see, we've got a little Snakes on a Plane action going on here.
00:05And while we do have some really cool prop and some animatronic snakes,
00:09most of which we're going to be shooting for visual reference,
00:12most of this work is going to be done by the great team up at Tower 33.
00:17We've got a team of great animators and designers and all that stuff.
00:21And so I'm here to get lighting reference.
00:25I'm here to take measurements, to answer questions that the director, DP, may have
00:30and any questions that the actors may have or props.
00:34You know, everybody is working together to make this as awesome as we can.
00:37This is snake cam.
00:39This allows us to slither down the aisles of the airplane.
00:42But it's that slither motion that we needed to get.
00:45Our DP actually worked on the film Snakes on a Plane.
00:49And many years ago, back when I was a production coordinator,
00:51I also worked on Snakes on a Plane.
00:53So this feels very full circle for me.
00:55And it's going to be a lot of fun and the snakes are going to look great.
