00:00Let's move on now to other stories.
00:02Coming in, Mumbai has gone again on a high alert.
00:04What happened?
00:05A threatening email targeting some of cities' most prominent landmarks and stars as well.
00:11Among the locations named in the threat is the resident of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
00:17The threatening email was sent to the Bombay High Court,
00:20naming the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Worldly Racecourse and Amitabh Bachchan's Bangaloo Jalsa.
00:26The threat immediately triggered a security alert.
00:28Police and security agencies are investigating the email, its source, and are working to trace the sender.
00:33The security checks have been carried out, although no suspicious object has been reported so far.
00:38But remember for a star like Amitabh Bachchan,
00:41this is not the first security scare that he's faced in recent days.
00:45Last weekend itself, the megastar continued his decades-old tradition.
00:48He met the fans, waved to them outside Jalsa, but a significant change.
00:53Look closely on his screens.
00:54You noticed it. This was Amitabh Bachchan greeting his fans from behind a transparent, protective glass enclosure.
01:02Additional security around him.
01:05His son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, present with the veteran while waving to the crowd.
01:10Because there have been a series of threats, attacks, attempted assassinations even in the past few weeks.
01:16Actors Tushar Kapoor and Ayushman Khurana have allegedly received threat calls.
01:20Police have arrested a Bengaluru-based IT engineer in connection with these threats.
01:26Before that came the incident that shook the film fraternity.
01:28Of course, Taigushtroff's car came under fire in Juhu, though he managed to escape unhurt.
01:33Two others were injured.
01:3513 people were arrested in connection with that attack.
01:38Lawrence Bishnoe gang's name was seen as behind this attack.
01:41Earlier this year, gunshots were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty's residence in Mumbai.
01:46A social media account claiming links to the Bishnoe gang even took responsibility of this attack and more.
01:52So there is clearly a pattern and that is why there is a certain fear and scare that has spread
01:57in the Mumbai film industry.
01:59And that is the reason that the city has been on high alert.
02:01But let's hope that our security agencies are on the job and no criminal gangster, their network or nexus will
02:07be able to succeed.
