Attempting to run a scam call by claiming a credit card will let someone time travel back to 2001 to stop 9/11 is wild, but rapidly pivoting to an elaborate Mississippi cabin romance is peak unhinged energy. Playing Scam with your Friends as Peanut Jackson, The Burnt Peanut called a potential mark named Reese Caldwell. Instead of a normal opening script, Peanut declared that two planes hit the towers in 2001 and demanded Reese's credit card number to grant him time travel powers to stop it. When Reese revealed he was a cybersecurity professional and roasted the pitch as the worst phishing attempt ever, Peanut instantly pivoted to professing his deep romantic love for Reese. He painted an idyllic fantasy about moving to a Mississippi cabin, starting a family, and adopting a dog named Rufus. When Reese stayed unimpressed, Peanut demanded the credit card again. After Reese threatened to hang up over the constant 9/11 jokes, Peanut argued he said September 11th before blurting out 911 one last time, driving the exasperated caller to disconnect! ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿก๐Ÿคฃ

00:03Hi, can you walk me through what's going on?
00:10In 2001, two planes hit the towers.
00:13Okay, that's a hell of a way to open a call.
00:15What does 9 over 11 have to do with why you're calling me?
00:18Because I need your credit card number.
00:21Haha, nice try. Why the hell would I hand my card number to some stranger who opens with 9 over
00:2611?
00:26You can stop 9-11.
00:32So I time travel back to 2001 with a credit card, what the f*** are you smoking?
00:37If you give me your credit card number, I will let you time travel back to 9-11 and stop
00:43it.
00:44Yeah, I know. I'm a cyber security guy and that is the shittiest phishing excuse I've ever heard.
00:50Okay, you caught me.
00:52I'm actually on this phone call to profess my love to you.
00:56I find you very handsome.
01:00That's flattering as hell, but you pivoted from time travel to romance in 10 seconds.
01:06Listen to me. You and I, we're going to move out to a cabin in Mississippi, have a lake, start
01:12a family, have kids, have a dog.
01:15We name him Rufus. He runs around the lake every single day, catches a few fish.
01:19You and I will fall in love together, grow old together and die together.
01:23You understand?
01:27That's a gorgeous little fantasy and all, but you're pitching me a lake house and a dog named Rufus while
01:32dodging every single question I asked.
01:34You must give me your credit card number to stop September 11th.
01:40Unbelievable. You literally just promised not to say it and led with it anyway, so we're done here.
01:45I did not say 9-11. I said September 11.
01:49Oh, my mistake. That's totally different. You're a goddamn comedian, not a scammer.
01:529-11.
01:54What the hell? You absolute headache. I'm hanging up before you squeeze a fourth.
01:5710-12.
01:57No.
01:58No.
01:58It's different.
