00:08music has always had the power to bring people together and together we are setting off on a
00:15journey that has never been done before to be able to make music that is thousands of years old
00:22about the gods about the traditions about the stories that makes india so important for us
00:38in the west
00:38it was a very interesting story when i met hans in new york i'd made my entire pitch deck and
00:44all the
00:45world building when i met him i was like hans let me show you what we're doing and i may
00:52have run six
00:53or seven slides and he's like no it's okay i don't need to see it that simple fact that two
01:00cultures
01:01that are so different can be so the same there are indian musicians and there are western musicians
01:10they are truly dropping all those geographies all those cultural barriers and saying
01:18how can we make the story of lord ram the finest the best
01:26the most endearing it can ever be and that i think is like i told you it's what dreams are
01:30made now
01:32i think these guys are not legends without any reason
01:39they know what needs to be done and they just accelerated
01:49it's so effortless
01:51so we divided some of the stuff um i was concentrating on the songs concentrating of
01:56certain themes i'd done and then he had done certain themes and then
02:00we'll mix it up so the process is a constant exchange and see what works the best
02:10suddenly the emotions are overflowing you are just mesmerized
02:17it just sounds so out of this world when you have so many musicians in sync
02:25at the end of the day it is about what we feel in our hearts
02:31and the friendship that we have
02:34can speak to each other without ever using a word
02:40we just go to an instrument and start playing
02:45the fact that it became the ramayan that actually got him
02:48to score alongside ar and and that team and their respect for each other being so wonderful
02:56as a sight to see is uh beyond imagination i think it's very important
03:04that ar and i are working together because as musicians we bring people together the music brings
03:22like if there is something that's existed for thousands of years
03:26who are you and i to question it
03:30we just need to learn as to why it is so relevant and why people are so excited about it
03:34thousands of years later
03:36and as long as we do that we'll all be happy
03:41even for this generation to understand what ramayana is
03:45the grandiose production and the details of it i think would make every kid watch our own culture
