00:00Well, Sunderland's first foray into European football was back in the early 70s.
00:05They've actually won all three previous European home matches.
00:10And starts for Wilson Nils Isidore and Malik Fafana with Enzo Le Fay and Brian Brobby dropping to the substitutes
00:17bench.
00:19Mika Seitz, Mateo Vinloff, Dani Rodriguez and Arba Hodja dropped to the bench.
00:25Match day four of the Europa League at the Stadium of Light.
00:30So Dinamo Zagreb in the all-blue will attack the goal away to our right in this first half.
00:38Sunderland attack, this is Mounier.
00:43Good pass in to Isidore.
00:45And it's a routine save for Kotarski.
00:48Premier League game so far, took 15 games to get to that number last season.
00:52So you can see the drop-off in consistency from the side as a whole defensively.
00:57Xhaka now releasing Rigg.
01:00Four weight for the cross in red and white.
01:03And the header from Ahoka, who ghosted into the box.
01:09Orsic with the corner.
01:16Freedom of the box and in.
01:18Brilliant finish.
01:21From Luka Stojkovic.
01:23And Dinamo Zagreb lead by a goal to nil.
01:32What a great volley.
01:35And they are dancing with delight at that end of the Stadium of Light.
01:39Regis Labrice and his staff watch on.
01:43And when they see this corner kick back, they'll realize just how much space they afforded to the goalscorer.
01:51And he took full advantage.
01:53Have a look here.
01:56Must have been seven, eight Sunderland players all in and around the delivery of the corner.
02:01Nobody picking up Stojkovic.
02:04His movement's good.
02:06Just backed off.
02:06And here's Lisica.
02:09Bellio.
02:10Oh, might be in for two here.
02:11Brilliant for Dinamo Zagreb.
02:14And a great clearance off the line from Munye.
02:17Very experienced defending there from Thomas Munye.
02:22Saved a certain second goal for Dinamo.
02:25And how well they fashioned this.
02:28Lovely pass from Bellio.
02:30And then for Fana.
02:34Nice return from Isidore.
02:36Better from Sunderland rig to Isidore.
02:39Doesn't get anything like the bend he was looking for there.
02:44He'd been rather pedestrian up to now.
02:47But that was slick.
02:48Interpassing.
02:49Rigg releasing Isidore.
02:52But no trouble for Kotarski.
03:01Belincic.
03:03Away via the head of Munye.
03:06Stojkovic.
03:09Tests roofs.
03:11And that could easily have dropped to Dion Bellio.
03:15But lovely footwork again from Stojkovic.
03:19Having a fine first half aside from his goal.
03:22He's been excellent on the ball.
03:28Sunderland continued to trail deeper into the match.
03:33Munye underneath this one.
03:34Hoping to be.
03:35But it's nicely gathered by Orsic.
03:39And they're in again here.
03:41This is Bellio.
03:42Brilliant.
03:43He worked.
03:432-0.
03:46Dion Bellio continues his remarkable goal scoring record.
03:51For Dinamo Zagreb.
03:56Cute finish.
03:57Sunderland no answer to it.
04:00And they are staring Regis Labrice's side effort.
04:03Dinamo Zagreb will be absolutely delighted with their first half performance.
04:08They've been the better side.
04:09They've been the more fluent when they've had possession.
04:12Stojkovic with an excellent volley put them in front.
04:15Regis Labrice wearing a weary face as well he might.
04:21His Sunderland team are dropping like a stone this season.
04:25Certainly in terms of the Premier League.
04:27Thus far it's been promising in the Europa League.
04:31But not tonight.
04:32They've been second best.
04:34Full credit to Dinamo Zagreb.
04:36Who played well in that first half.
04:38Sunderland created so little.
04:41Will the substitutions.
04:42Four of them.
04:43Make a difference.
04:45Here's Fofana.
04:47That's obstruction.
04:49And a yellow card.
04:51Very early.
04:52In the second half.
04:56Goes to Valincic.
05:00Granit Xhaka with the free kick.
05:05And a free header.
05:06And they have got a good start.
05:09As to whether he's onside here.
05:11Well I think he may not be.
05:16I think there's a...
05:22And it is...
05:24Offside.
05:28So it remains 2-0.
05:34It's definitely leaning.
05:37So it's Le Fay's corner.
05:41Oh good effort from Fofana.
05:43Back.
05:45And somehow Trey Hume.
05:47Can't finish it off.
05:54Nice.
05:55Shaka free kick back.
05:57Spooned away by Kotarski.
05:59And off the bar from Denso.
06:00It's a brilliant free kick.
06:02I wonder if he can come Kotarski.
06:04He stays at home.
06:05He really should be out.
06:06Dealing with that.
06:07The keeper.
06:09And he gets rather fortunate.
06:10Reynaldo.
06:12Forces the save.
06:18And this is Stojkovic.
06:21Whisker away.
06:23And Granit Xhaka was very nearly embarrassed there.
06:25And they break so well.
06:28Fluent.
06:29When they come forward.
06:30Dinamo Zagreb.
06:32Movement off the ball.
06:33Good.
06:34And Stojkovic not far away from making it 3-0.
06:45Wonderful season last time around.
06:48But needs to back it up.
06:50And start finding some wins.
06:52As Le Fay.
06:54Draws a routine save out of Kotarski.
07:00And now Brobi!
07:03Good goalkeeping from Kotarski.
07:16And Brobi wasn't too far away from getting this over the line.
07:20it's a good save
07:34Xhaka
07:36almost into the path of Lefe
07:37he breaks for Granit Xhaka again
07:41Matisse-Stefan
07:42but Kotarski right behind it
07:45Robby
07:47Siddiqui
07:49Malik for Fana
07:51straight down the throat of Kotarski
07:56in by Lutton
07:57attempt was in by Xhaka
07:59good block from Hodgson
08:01and that's it
