00:00Hey, this is Wolf from Barefoot Bushcraft, and we're here at the train tracks.
00:03It goes near the end of Turner Road here in Thorold, Ontario, where we run our summer camp.
00:08And campers cross this road all the time, and this is the area of the ghost train.
00:13Some campers tell us they actually hear the trains come back and forth.
00:18So in the 1970s, there was a camp for boys not that far from here, just on the other side
00:24of the tracks.
00:24And unfortunately, what happened is the young people who were in there, the young boys, they didn't listen.
00:30And they were like, oh, we're going to go play on the tracks.
00:33Don't play on the tracks.
00:33They played on the tracks, and a couple of the campers at that time, so again, this is 50-some
00:39-odd years ago,
00:39they got ridden over by the train.
00:41So sometimes at night, even though these tracks are definitely defunct, there's no train on these tracks.
00:46You can see it.
00:48Sometimes you hear the train echoing through the night.
