00:19about everything going on in your life it's such an exciting time i've just been talking to
00:23everybody in the hallways about how we watch all your videos on instagram every day oh stop
00:27and your kids are so cute yeah of course well i want to start with you know why we're here

00:34why did you decide to partner with huggies well being a mom of three i feel like i've definitely
00:41tried a lot of different brands okay and i'm very very particular about the brands that i actually
00:46use on my babies and huggies has been our go-to through all of our babies it's just it's undeniable
00:53that they're the brand that you can rely on which as a mom reliable like that word is so comforting
00:58because so many things in life are chaotic and crazy so you need reliable but beyond that i was
01:04so excited to partner with them at this current time because one already using them like a no-brainer
01:09i'm like yes huggies are only diapers but they have this incredible movement going on where they are
01:14sharing the joy of movement and really making this partnership about sharing joy of movement with your
01:19kids and to me that is what i am all about moving my body is something that i'm so passionate
01:24about
01:24whether that's through dancing through a workout through a walk through stretching whatever it is
01:29and i love that it's been something that me and my kiddos can kind of do together um sometimes my
01:35morning workouts look like my little ones running in and joining me and it honestly is like the most
01:39fun part of my day and being able to share that with them so this really really fun partnership where
01:44it's really just helping moms if you're a mom and you have kids or really just anybody share the joy
01:49of movement and i love that huggies emphasizes that because it's just what i'm all about oh i love that
01:54and you know i love the way you talk about your kids and getting to share these moments with them
01:58what has it been like getting to share the experience of you know being in the ballroom watching your
02:03sister on dancing with the stars and do your kids or your daughters already kind of like getting the
02:07itch to be on future seasons of the show way down the line oh yes i'm like okay how many
02:12years does the
02:13show need to keep going so that my girls can do it no they it's been so special i mean
02:20from day one
02:20riley's first season sage my oldest was very aware june came after june it was actually like eight months
02:27old for riley's first season but watching them just watch riley grow on the show and be so excited
02:34about every single week watching voting being so invested it's just it's so special i feel so lucky
02:41that my girls have someone like riley to look up to um because she's amazing and she's such a good
02:46role model and she's doing such an amazing job and it's so fun to see my girls just be absolutely
02:51obsessed and love my daughter sage actually had her sixth birthday last night and the birthday party
02:55was a dance with the stars disney night watch party and it was just the sweetest thing ever so i

03:00all about it i love it they love it and it's such a fun thing for us to share together

03:06that you know i do want to talk a little bit about this season because it's just all anybody including
03:11myself can talk about right now obviously i get it it's so good well obviously riley's so talented and
03:17i am curious because obviously you've gone through this yourself um the internet is not always the
03:23nicest place to be so i am curious that as her sister what do you say to those who have
03:27been
03:27critical of her or her choreography over the last few weeks years whatever it may be you know what i
03:33applaud all of the current pros on the show right now because i feel like my last couple seasons
03:39social media picked up a bit but i never did a season where social media was at the level that
03:44it
03:44is now which one that's been really really cool because this show has gotten such an incredible
03:50resurgence because of social media there is so much positive we see the love and the support that
03:56fans are giving to each of these couples and the pros and the celebrities and i want to really
04:01emphasize that because i feel like there's so much focus on the negative because it's there and it's
04:06hard to ignore but what i have always said to riley and to anyone who's asked for like advice on
04:11dealing with online negativity is to look for the good if you look for the good you will find it
04:16but
04:16then vice versa if you look for the bad you also won't find it so look for the good because
04:21there is
04:21so much i think i mean like i said the resurgence of resurgence of this show is a testament to
04:27all the
04:27incredible love and good that has come from social media and it's amazing to see but it is hard there's
04:33always going to be noise no matter what you do so i think if you just know that like i'm
04:37just going to
04:38focus on the good and look for that positive light and make sure that's what i'm putting my attention
04:42into yeah totally and you know like you said i i am luckily on the algorithm that loves riley and
04:48connor this season they're so good and they've built really such a strong fan base even derek predicted
04:53that they'll be in the finale what's it like to get to see her get her flowers from the judges
04:58oh my goodness well i am always proud of riley um genuinely like i feel like a second mom to
05:04her and
05:04everything she does i'm just her biggest fan her biggest cheerleader what i love about her the most
05:09is that she has never changed who she is for one second through all of the things in her career
05:15she's always been the sweet kind loving riley that we all know and love and that makes me so proud
05:21but then beyond that seeing her get recognized for her choreography her talents her abilities like
05:27i can't even tell you how happy it makes me i'm so so proud i think she is so deserving
05:32of all of
05:33the love and i just i'm so happy for her truly could not be more happy for her and i've
05:37loved this
05:38season for her i think it's been such a special season for her for so many reasons and it's really
05:42really cool to see people just recognizing and appreciating her talent yeah and you know i do have to
05:48ask you because obviously you know riley's posted with him she has a boyfriend but so many people
05:52have been like loving the chemistry between her and connor in their dances what do you say to those
05:57people and how important is it in a competition especially like this to really sell that chemistry
06:02oh well i think chemistry goes it goes beyond so many different things i mean i have such incredible
06:08chemistry with my best friends like we might have the best chemistry ever so i think it's really cool
06:13to focus and to think about like the friendships that are created when doing the show one of my
06:18favorite parts of when i was on the show was the genuine friendships and connections that i created
06:24with each of my partners it is undeniable you are spending hours and hours with this person and you're
06:31putting in so much time so much work you're doing scary things like a lot of times you're you're you're
06:36asking your celebrity to do something very vulnerable and scary and you're their support and i just i really
06:41think it is so cool and so special the relationships that can be formed on this show and the friendships
06:46that are lifelong i mean i still am friends with all of my partners that still stay in touch and
06:51i've loved riley and connor this season have been such a fun bright light such a bright fun energy that
06:58is just contagious you just feel happy when you're watching them like literally i'm the i'm the total
07:03dance mom watching their videos and just like like smiling in your ear because they just make you so happy
07:08their their joy and excitement for all the things that they're doing are just so contagious and i love
07:12that people are loving their friendship i think it's so special well you know who else is loving
07:16their friendship is jennifer lawrence because oh my gosh like a fan i mean do you know if they've
07:22gotten to connect yet are you kind of in there like how can we make this happen you know while

07:41moments can become viral and i i love that for them i think it's so cool i don't know of

07:52absolutely val and jenna last night both earned perfect scores for disney night and some people i know
07:57a lot of people online think that there's sometimes favoritism from the judges especially toward you know
08:02that couple in particular do you ever get that vibe no i think that it's i think a lot of
08:09times
08:09people think that if you come on the show with dance experience that's a negative thing it's not
08:13we've seen it for years and years and years and years and years this is not new a lot of
08:17times we
08:18have celebrities who do have a dance background and i think it's amazing what i love about the show
08:22is that you're bringing people from all walks of life all different experience and you're asking them
08:27to do something that at the end of the day is vulnerable for them none of these celebrities
08:31have performed on dancing with the stars before and so it's so cool to see how they bring in their
08:37outside talents or things that they've picked up along the way in their careers and they showcase it
08:42in different ways and that's what's so beautiful about the show so i love to see all of it and
08:47i think
08:47everybody does as well there's that's why people have their favorites and that's why there's voting is
08:52you get to vote for your favorites and that's what's so great about dancing with the stars
08:55yeah no i love it i love everybody i love it when like people have no experience i love it
08:59when they
09:00have experience it's just fun to watch all the different things all around i am curious aside
09:05from obviously riley and connor who else are you really rooting for this season oh my gosh well i'm
09:10rooting for everyone besides riley and connor that's just the only answer you're gonna get because of
09:14course riley and connor are my couple but then beyond that it's so fun because i genuinely am excited for
09:21everyone they are my friends they're people that i've known for 10 plus years and
09:24i know firsthand how much work goes into every single week every single dance the stress the worry
09:32the time all of the things so i'm i genuinely mean it when i say that i am rooting for
09:38everyone i love
09:39when they see when everyone succeeds like anytime someone has like their best dance of the season
09:44like i get so excited because i'm like i know how good of a feeling that is and every single
09:49couple
09:49deserves to have one of those moments on the show so genuinely love it but obviously connor and riley
09:54are my team yes yes obviously and you know it's been five years since you last competed on dancing
09:59with the stars do you have the itch to come back yet could we see you in future seasons where

10:04stand on that now so honestly i i feel like i always say this but it's like i don't have
10:09any plan i don't
10:10have like a five-year plan of like this is when i would want to come back i'm really just
10:14taking it
10:15a year at a time and you know i i'm very happy with my phase of life i'm very happy

10:21i'm at right now in my career family life all the things so i always say never say never because

10:26do mean that but there's not like this like timeline that i have in mind for when i'd be like
10:32i want to come back and who knows if i ever will at all but it's it's just one of
10:35those things where
10:35i'm never going to like close the door and be like i would never do that so that's kind of
10:39where
10:39i'm at totally and totally understandable and i know you're living in utah now uh i know whitney
10:44carson recently said that she was approached about joining the secret lives of mormon wives were you
10:48ever approached about joining that show and is reality tv something that you would ever consider
10:53doing you know what i feel like i mean i did do reality tv on dancing with the stars but
10:57it's
10:57definitely different i think it just goes back to like i genuinely love where i'm at right now in my
11:03career my personal life and i love the control i have over what i share about my family and
11:09all the things that i have going on and so i mean no i i don't really have interest in
11:14that at the
11:14moment i think i'm just again just very content but obviously who knows what life will bring but
11:20i'm just i'm very happy with where i'm at right now and all the things that me and my little
11:23family
11:24have going on oh i love it yeah that's so funny because i think it was like a year ago
11:27i was talking
11:27to emma slater and she was like i think there should be a reality show of all the pros that
11:31just like
11:32like behind the scenes follows all the pros she's like that would be there would be tea in that
11:36oh i would watch it i would watch all my friends and what they do all day long so
11:41if anyone watches it's me i got them yes yes well you know i have one more quick question for
11:46you you
11:46know what's next what are do you have any other projects in the works anything you're really excited
11:50to show people to to work on to see anything yeah well i mean i think i i love being
11:56able to share
11:57my life with my little fam and like share my love and joy of movement so excited about this fun
12:02partnership with huggies if you haven't seen yet i've posted a couple of these fun
12:06in partnership with huggies like four count dance breaks that i'm doing with my little girls they're
12:11actually teaching the choreography which is so much fun um but it's really just about like spreading the
12:16joy and love of movement especially heading into the busiest seasons of the year um and that's a lot
12:21what i do as well with my workout program the movement club is help people move their bodies no
12:25matter what phase of life they're in uh we have a lot of exciting things coming with the movement club
12:29heading into the new year so that would be kind of what i would say to to keep an eye
12:34out for yeah
12:35well that's so exciting and i'm so happy for you and all the amazing things you're doing in your life
