Opening post on The Dragon King's Forbidden Maid, and this is one of the stronger arguments for AI-generated vertical drama.
63 episodes. Consistent character models. Actually consistent — Joanna's mask keeps the same shape from episode one to the finale, which sounds like a low bar until you remember how often that fails.
What the format buys here is scale. A tower, a royal city, a full court, all held together on a schedule no live-action production could match.
What it still struggles with is hands and crowds. You will spot it in the throne room scenes.
But the story logic is tighter than the rendering budget, and that is what keeps people watching.
Judge this one on the writing, not the pixels.
