00:00Becky Hammond, Las Vegas Aces head coach.
00:02Kara Lawson, Duke head coach, also led Team USA to a gold medal at the FIBA games back
00:08earlier in the summer.
00:09And then Dawn Staley, obviously head coach of South Carolina.
00:12What do you like about those three names?
00:14What do you think each could bring?
00:15And what do we actually know about whether any of them would actually consider this job?
00:20Those are all like dream candidates, right?
00:22All three are under contract.
00:24Two of them are coaching in the college season that just started.
00:27Dawn Staley, for example, she's getting paid, I believe, over $4 million a year at South
00:31Carolina.
00:32And that's just not the going rate for WNBA coaches right now.
00:34It would be a massive jump to match that pay.
00:37I can see Dawn maybe going to Philly when they get a WNBA team.
00:40Becky's interesting because the Aces are kind of at an inflection point, but I don't know
00:45any person that would want to leave Asia Wilson.
00:48I think all three would make sense, but I just don't know how attainable they are.
