00:01The Moro National Liberation Front or MNLF denies it is the quote powerful armed group sheltering
00:06Senator Bato de la Rosa. This after Interior Secretary John Vic Remulia said he received
00:11information that de la Rosa was being protected by an armed group in Mindanao. The group says
00:16the MNLF is not cuddling Senator Bato. There is no established formal relationship between
00:21Senator Ronald Bato de la Rosa and the MNLF. Remulia also warned that attempting a forced
00:26arrest on the lawmaker could cost 10,000 lives to explain why he would rather negotiate
00:31the Senator's surrender. De la Rosa has been out of public view since May and made the
00:36ICC arrest warrant. While the Interior Chief did not identify the alleged armed group, the
00:41MNLF was quick to distance itself from the speculation. The group insists personal ties between former
00:46President Rodrigo Duterte and MNLF founder Nur Misuari should not be construed as evidence
00:51that the group was hiding de la Rosa.
