first post on God of Ruin, and it opens on a very common mistake: believing a change of address is a change of life.
Mia moves. New university, new rooms, new names to learn. And she brings the same silence with her, packed like furniture.
Four years is long enough that people around her have stopped asking why she doesn't talk much. They've decided it's a personality. She lets them.
Then somebody says the thing out loud in a crowded room, and the whole strategy collapses in seconds — not because it's cruel, but because it's accurate.
That's what makes him dangerous. Not the volume. The accuracy.
✨ What worked for me:
- Nothing about the past is shown. Not one second of it.
- She never explains herself to anybody in this show.
✨ Bottom line: you can move cities in a week. You can't move four years.
What would you have left behind?
— K, karma is a dish best served on screen 🥂
