Cyclone Arnab’s impact has disrupted weather conditions across Nepal, triggering heavy snowfall in Himalayan regions and rainfall in several parts of the country. Hundreds of domestic and foreign trekkers have been stranded along the Kanchenjunga trekking routes, with many taking shelter in hotels and mountain settlements. Around 250 tourists were reported in affected settlements, while trekkers heading towards Makalu Base Camp have also been held up. Authorities have urged tourists to remain in safe locations until weather conditions improve.
