00:02I think at the outset I am so thankful to IIT Delhi for giving me this opportunity to touch this
00:08great institution.
00:09And my deep compliments to everyone, especially Professor Goughran, IIT and everyone, the faculties, students who have organized this program.
00:16I think it's a must, it's a great initiative to really inflict that concept of nationalism, concept of patriotism, concept
00:24of knowledge to my children.
00:26And thousands of them have come here and could see the faculties and could see the products and the developments
00:32happening.
00:32I think it will really have a great serving to the nations to build a new idea.
00:36And you were talking about the innovation changing India and future of India.
00:42Yes. See, today if you look at the warfare is changing.
00:45In the changing scenario of the warfare, more than the tanks and the bombs and the missiles and those applications,
00:51I think the weapon is going to be the technology, the weapon is going to be the IP, the weapon
00:56is going to be the design.
00:57I think those who have got that, they are the world leaders.
01:00And today with all the vision which is given by our Unrebeled Dynamic Prime Minister,
01:05I think the entire nation of 1.5 billion people are committed to make this as a great India.
01:09And this is possible only with technology innovation.
01:12And India is going to be on the global innovation index one day, the supreme number one,
01:17just because of these great things being developed by our institutions, professors and the students.
01:22So what is it to the youth?
01:25I think you are the power. 65% of the people are below 35% India is the largest global
01:30youth power today.
01:31This country belongs to you. You all have to lead it forward.
01:35And it's your power which has to go in right directions to build a great India.
01:39A great India is not just built by individually developing systems.
01:43It's built when the synergy happens, when the thinking becomes together and when our academia, our industry,
01:49our research organizations like DRDO and ISRO, all our startups, our innovation centers,
01:55they together synergize to really build something which nobody in the world has done that.
01:59And if India is going to be the innovation capital of the world,
02:02I think the best brain across the country should take this country forward to build something which is built by
02:08nobody else.
02:09I think this country has all the power to take it to the next global orbit.
02:13And this orbital shift can happen when each one of you as the youth power is instrumental in developing,
02:19delivering with one mantra, believe in India, live in India, love India.
02:24Thank you so much.
02:29So today I'm very happy. We are organizing Open House 2026, which is the 19th edition.
02:36This is our flagship program. We would like to invite everyone to come and see what IIT Delhi is doing.

02:57doing,
02:57we have recently launched something called researchambit.iitd.ac.in.
03:03It's a website called Research Ambit.
