Two iconic romantasy worlds. Two gorgeous book collections. But if you could choose only one, would it be Fourth Wing or ACOTAR? 📚🔥
Today's Bookish This or That brings together two of the biggest names in fantasy romance: Rebecca Yarros's Fourth Wing from the Empyrean series and Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR). We're putting their special editions head-to-head in a fantasy book comparison that every romantasy reader and beautiful-book collector needs to weigh in on.
From stunning cover designs and collectible hardcovers to gorgeous sprayed edges and the overall bookshelf aesthetic, this is all about choosing the fantasy book edition that deserves your attention. Are you drawn to dragon riders, dangerous trials and the world of Basgiath? Or would you rather escape into Prythian, with its faerie courts, magic, romance and unforgettable characters?
The romantasy conversation is particularly lively right now, with renewed ACOTAR excitement and continuing interest in Fourth Wing and its fantasy adaptations. Special editions also remain a major part of the collector conversation.
