00:01So, you're not just here to promote your new show, Newlyweds?
00:09No.
00:11I'm engaging with you as a human being.
00:16That's Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show this week,
00:20delivering a pitch-perfect parody of the new Elizabeth Holmes doc,
00:24You Can See Everything, not to be confused with Curtis's Oscar-winning role
00:28in Everything Everywhere all at once.
00:30Wednesday's cold open slash staring contest got rave reviews online.
00:35One person tweeted,
00:36Jimmy deadass looks like him.
00:38Another called it truly frightening.
00:41You both absolutely nailed it.
00:43And then there was this comment,
00:44Jimmy is such a chameleon.
00:46He really looks like a super elderly Nathan.
00:49Super elderly? Um, rude.
00:52For the record, Nathan Fielder is 43 and Jimmy Fallon is 52.
00:55The resemblance, though, is uncanny.
00:58And I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of Elizabeth Holmeses this Halloween.
01:01But no one plays her better than Amanda Seyfried.
01:04Earlier this week, the Emmy-winning star of Hulu's The Dropout slipped back into a black turtleneck
01:09for her first-ever Tiffany & Co. holiday campaign.
01:12Take a look.
01:29That wink? Oh, they knew what they were doing.
01:32It's been Elizabeth Holmes' mania ever since the genre-bending doc hit theaters on October 16th.
01:37Here's what Page Six reported earlier this month.
01:40This is an inspiring, an inspiring step forward.
01:44This isn't just my job. This is who I am.
01:48Anybody who doubts my company doubts me.
01:52That's Amanda Seyfried in the 2022 Hulu series The Dropout.
01:56She won an Emmy for the role, but now she's raising eyebrows for her surprising involvement in a new film.
02:03Spoilers ahead. Over the weekend, Seyfried shocked moviegoers when she appeared alongside Nathan Fielder in You Can See Everything,
02:11A24's buzzy documentary that follows disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the last 34 days leading up to her prison
02:19sentence.
02:20In the doc, Seyfried explores her own evolving perspective on Holmes, including the convicted fraudster's cringy relationship with fiancee Billy
02:28Evans.
02:29I mean, weren't you worried she was sort of scamming you?
02:33A hundred percent, but what did she have to gain from me?
02:35Well, isn't your family rich?
02:38Yeah, I think that there's like a lot of different levels of wealth.
02:41And get this, Seyfried also steps back into Holmes' proverbial black turtleneck to perform recreations of real conversations between Holmes
02:50and Fielder.
02:51The doc is getting rave reviews, 98% on Rotten Tomatoes with a 97% popcorn meter.
02:57But Seyfried is also facing harsh criticism online as she grappled on camera with how she portrayed Holmes in The
03:04Dropout.
03:04One user on X wrote,
03:06Amanda Seyfried defending Holmes as a victim of male manipulation until Holmes accused her of participating in a sensationalized version
03:13of the Theranos scandal and then flipping out about how it is just TV was truly gross.
03:19I hope she gets redragged for it.
03:21Others piled onto Seyfried, who previously got backlash in 2025 for online comments she made about Charlie Kirk.
03:27In the doc, she stands by them.
03:30This is maybe the number one reason why I loved You Can See Everything.
03:33Seeing Amanda Seyfried for her true colors, in full hypocrisy, was such a cathartic feeling.
03:39It reminds me why we should never take people like her seriously.
03:43But not everyone agreed with the harsh criticism.
03:45Some came to Seyfried's defense.
03:48This X user wrote,
03:49Imagine walking away from this blaming Amanda Seyfried.
03:52The point is, Amanda herself changes her opinion on Elizabeth Holmes.
03:56So does Nathan Fielder.
03:57So does the audience.
03:59That's the literal point.
04:00Well, whichever side you're on, you can see everything is unlike anything you will see in theaters.
04:05A truly face-melting, head-scratching experience that offers a closer look at both the disgraced entrepreneur and the Hollywood
04:12actress who became her.
04:14But what did you think of the doc?
