00:04Hi, this is Connie, I'm from Refinery29, and we are in Beauty Test Lab today, and we're going
00:08to be trying out the Shu Amora Art of Hair Volume Maker Invisible Texturizing Powder,
00:13which sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. So this is a little brush,
00:19I'm going to take it out of the packaging, that promises to give you Dolly Parton level
00:24texture and volume in your hair, it's not like a dinky little like half-inch lift, it like will
00:30give you the biggest hair you've ever gotten in your entire life. So I'm working with day-old hair,
00:35it's not thin and not thick, so it's pretty normal hair, and we're going to see what this looks like
00:41on me. So a couple clicks, and then paint it onto the roots. It's a little messy, but the powder
00:51is
00:51invisible, so you just dust it in, it won't leave that white baby powder look.
01:04I'm trying really working it in there, and getting it into my scalp.
01:18And if you just use your fingers to lift it up.
01:26Already it makes a huge difference, and this is without me even backcombing it,
01:31or doing anything else super special with it. If you run actually a blow dryer through your hair
01:37on a cold setting, it's supposed to set it. But honestly, for everyday purposes, this is all you need.
01:44So the only downside is this, is that it's $48, but if really big hair is something that's really
01:48important to you, I think it's definitely worth it because, I mean, it obviously works. So I give this
01:55a pass. Your baby powder, your dry shampoo, I don't think anything is going to give you this kind of
02:02look,
02:02except for backcombing and teasing your hair, which isn't really great for you. So, pass.
