The most annoying part about tucking or cuffing the bottom of your jeans is it just doesn't look as crisp as the original hem of a pant. We've got a solution that's quick, free, and will make it look as though your jeans just came that way.

00:00So obviously this works best with lighter colored jeans because the lighter the color,
00:04the more the wrinkles show up.
00:05Oh wait, no, no, no.
00:06The opposite.
00:13Unless you're as tall as Karlie Kloss and with legs just as skinny, you probably can't
00:17wear jeans right off of the rack.
00:18But I have a really quick way to shorten your jeans without having to take them to the tailor.
00:22The lighter colored your jeans are, the more obvious the folds are going to be, so stick
00:26with darker denim in this case.
00:27So this is what most people do.
00:28They'll take all that extra fabric and tuck it inside of the jean, like so.
00:34So what you end up with is this sort of lumpy, bumpy, slightly baggy hem and there's no stitching
00:40on the bottom so it kind of looks weird.
00:42The right way to do it involves taking advantage of where your jeans naturally bunch, which
00:46is around your knees.
00:47Grab hold of the fabric right below your knees and pull up until you get to the right leg.
00:52Hold over and then create some natural wrinkles like that.
00:57Do your other leg.
00:59You might have to readjust it a couple times during the day, but it's not going to be anything
01:03like if you did it the old school way.
01:05So there you have it.
01:05It's an easy way to hem your pants without going to the tailor.

01:10All right.
