00:01I play like a girl.
00:03You want to play basketball?
00:04Play like me.
00:06Hi, I'm Brea Hartley.
00:07I'm point guard for New York Liberty,
00:09and we're here in New York.
00:13A lot of times I think it's frowned upon,
00:15like, oh, you're an athlete.
00:17You're too strong.
00:18You're too this.
00:18We show that we're good at what we do.
00:21We can do things just as good as some of the NBA players.
00:25So for me, I actually just had my son 19 months ago.
00:28Coming back after having a baby, everyone,
00:30they're like, oh, she's not going to be the same player.
00:31She's not going to be this.
00:32When you come back, you're finally, like,
00:34playing at the level that you're used to playing at.
00:36It kind of proves a lot of people wrong.
00:40You come up, you grow up, you're working so hard
00:42to be a basketball player.
00:43Now playing the WNBA is just a dream come true.
00:49Luckily, through my life, anything I've said I'm going to do,
00:52for the most part, I've done it.
00:58You've got to do it.
00:59And it's, like, there's going to be some nice people.
01:01It's a joy.
01:01You've got to that spell.
01:02I know.
