02:54Indeed, that championship belt, the CIS ruling, that'll work, that's what it's going to be all about on Sunday.
03:02But tonight, what this rematch is all about, is competition, ring superiority.
03:10The mono-e-mono between John Cena and the legendary Sean Michaels.
03:18Well, and the words came out of the very mouth of Sean Michaels.
03:22Sean Michaels looked John Cena right in the eye and said, you're not the better man.
03:27So that's what this match is all about.
03:30Reuben, who is the better man between these two?
03:33A loud and raucous crowd here tonight in London, England.
03:37We thank you for inviting us into your home, wherever you may be.
03:43Reverend Mike Kilt has been assigned to this main event, a one-ball matchup.
04:06It was our privilege as broadcasters to be a small part of that equation at ringside that night.
04:16Just seeing that match was just absolutely extraordinary for me.
04:28Well, I mean, this just has a feel to it, doesn't it?
04:32I mean, it's like electricity in the air right now.
04:36I mean, I think any time you get Sean Michaels and John Cena in a ring, no matter where it
04:40is in the world,
04:41tonight it's London, England.
04:43Sunday, it'll be Atlanta, Georgia.
04:45You get that special feeling, that electricity.
04:48And these bands, these great bands are moving that right along.
04:52And here the bell sounds.
04:54Remember, one fall to a finish here tonight.
04:56And if this match is even a fraction of what the match was at WrestleMania, it'll be a classic.
05:03Sean Michaels at WrestleMania dominated the majority of the matchup,
05:08especially in the early going of the matchup.
05:11And posed some predicaments that Cena had a hard time countering.
05:17And Michaels now the knuckle lock, using his shoulder to block Cena's left arm.
05:26Cena being right-handed, he's got great power in his upper body, does John Cena.
05:32And Shawn Michaels firing McCary takeover, and Cena countered, nice counter with a head scissor.
05:40Cena, I mean, make no bones about it, Cena's an excellent wrestler.
05:44But, you know, Shawn Michaels, he's a technician.
05:48I mean, Shawn Michaels has been around long enough to know, I mean, every hold, every countered, every hold.
05:56And I think that in that respect, Shawn Michaels is going to have the advantage.
06:01Strength-wise, you know, you've got to give the advantage to John Cena.
06:06I thought John Cena said something very poignant.
06:08Cena has great respect for Shawn Michaels, not headlock taking over.
06:12Another counter, but the bottom line is that John Cena is still the champ.

06:19And that's what this is all about, the WWE Championship.
06:24Well, that's what Sunday Backlash is going to be all about.
06:27You know, you and I talked a little bit before this match, what's at stake here.

06:34To me, that's a little bit trite.
06:36I just think we both got to admit, JR, let's face facts.
06:40Both of these men we're looking at right now have egos so big that they need a zip code.
06:45And these guys, I mean, they will not accept losing to the other.
06:52So, you know, what's going to happen?
06:54Nice takedown by Shawn Michaels.
06:56Shawn Michaels, focusing on the left arm and got a near ball, slid into that lateral press.
07:01Remember at WrestleMania, it was John Cena who drew first blood, literally, on Shawn Michaels.
07:08And Cena looking for STFU, the fatal STFU, if you will.
07:15And John Cena saying he was this close, that just reminds me of the words from Shawn Michaels to John

07:20when he said there have been any number of superstars that have come through the WWE
07:25claiming that they were going to beat Shawn Michaels.
07:28And some of them came just that close.
07:31But they didn't get it done.
07:33Shawn Michaels knows he must stay away from the STFU in the center of the ring.
07:39On the other hand, John Cena knows he cannot experience sweet chin music.
07:46We'll keep our eye on both those situations as this match evolves and develops.

08:51And these two played a lot of mind games leading up to WrestleMania.
08:55But if you ask me, I agree with you, J.R., it looks like John Cena has that look in

09:02I think he feels that he is the better man in this match.

09:11And a waistlock takedown, nice move.
09:13And Cena again looking for that ankle, getting Michaels on Michaels' abdomen.

10:46Well, I thought this thing was going to kind of degenerate into a slugfest there for a minute, but.

10:56I don't think, I just, I can't help, but I don't think Shawn Michaels needs to get in a slugging

11:25And Michaels out-wrestled John Cena at WrestleMania 23 in the early glowing.
11:30And there's another cover and a, man, a long, that was a hell of a near fall there.
11:35But tonight, it's John Cena who's outwrestling Shawn Michaels in the early part of this one fall match.
11:42Well, and as you mentioned earlier, we talked about Shawn Michaels tapped out at WrestleMania to the SDFU.
11:49And how many times have we seen Cena go for that?
11:51How many times?
11:52He knows that's effective.
11:53He knows that will work on Shawn Michaels.
11:56And he has attempted to lock it in about four or five times already.
12:01You're exactly right about that.
12:03And certainly, John Cena knows that he locks in the SDFU.
12:07This match will be over momentarily.
12:10Shawn Michaels knows it better than anyone how effective the SDFU can be and is.

12:52I thought for sure when Cena was behind Shawn there that he was going to lock in that SDFU.
12:57But he's content right now.
12:59Look at the way he's got Shawn's neck crimped.
13:02That's cutting off the oxygen to Shawn's brain.
13:04And he's content, Cena is, to just try to wear Shawn down.
13:09Cena dictating a pace here that he likes.
13:11And certainly Michaels quicker, faster than Cena, another near-fall situation.
13:17And Cena dictating the pace that John Cena is comfortable with.
13:23Shawn Michaels, we know, likes to kick it in gear, make you wrestle his match, not your match.
13:29And that's what Michaels did at WrestleMania more often than not.
13:34Well, Cena's strategy is obviously to slow Shawn Michaels down here.
13:38But what Cena has got to, you know, he has got to keep, and I'm sure it's in the back
13:43of his mind,
13:45that sweet chin music, JR, can come out of nowhere when you least expect it.
13:49You give Shawn Michaels just an inch, and he'll put your lights out with sweet chin music.
13:54And you're talking about three seconds to win this match.
13:56That's all it takes, three seconds.
13:59And Michaels going to the ribs, and then that one shot to the thigh muscle.
14:04And Michaels, look at the front, hip lock, got beat to the punch.
14:08Cena blocked it, hooked the leg, and Cena got a near-fall.

14:39And, of course, it's different depending on his opponent.
14:43And as John Cena said, he knows that Shawn Michaels has earned the respect over the years of all of

14:49This time, Michaels follows Cena in and delivered a reverse elbow right to the jaw.

15:05who has regained that attitude that made him famous or infamous, if you will.
