Squeeze a dime-sized amount of product into your hand. Beginning at ends, work the product through hair all the way to the crown. Carefully comb through hair. Divide the hair in two side-by-side sections, pulling the sections over each shoulder to keep them separated. Conquer the curls one section at a time, beginning with the bottom half of each portion. Using a clip, pin the upper half up and out of the way. Use straightener to iron the lower portion of the hair straight; don't be afraid to really pull down. One or two passes should effectively flatten the hair; any more will burn hair and potentially damage hair. TIP: As you pull off the end of the hair section, turn the straightener away from the natural curl of the hair. Unpin the top portion of hair and repeat. Repeat the same steps with the other half of the hair, making sure to comb through each section before using the straightener.
