00:01I moved to New York because I felt like there was nowhere else I should be.
00:06It really is an unpredictable melting pot of styles and cultures.
00:11I'm Shirley Lyle and I'm a content creator here in New York City.
00:16I started my first blog six years ago, but in the past four years it's really taken off.
00:22Going into any freelance career is scary, but I think that the risk is worth the reward.
00:29And amazing things can happen when you step out of your comfort zone.
00:33What I find most rewarding about this job is actually how I get to connect with such a vast group
00:37of women from around the world.
00:39Every day I aim to be present, not perfect.
00:43To experience the life around me and interpret it through my lens for the world to see.
