00:00You know, I've always wanted to wear boxer braids, but am I badass enough to pull them off?
00:07Yes, you can totally pull off boxer braids. I'm going to show you how to do it, but can we
00:11please get out of this ring?
00:12I'm getting nervous. I'll have gloves.
00:13Sure.
00:14Let's start braiding. So part your hair down the center into two equal sections.
00:21Next, we're going to grab a small portion of hair right at the front.
00:26Divide that into three sections.
00:30So here's how you make it different than a regular French braid.
00:33You're going to take the two outer strands and pull them underneath the middle strand.
00:38Kind of like doing a backwards braid.
00:42We're going to do this for a few stitches.
00:46And keep it as tight and as close to the hair as possible.
00:51After you've done a few, start adding in pieces to the outer strands.
01:00The goal is to have it parallel to the center part.
01:05Keep it tight. Keep it tight.
01:07Obviously, this is a little bit trickier than a regular French braid, so you really just have to mentally think
01:11about it.
01:12You're just making an inside-out French braid.
01:18And then secure the end with a rubber band.
01:20You're done with one side.
01:26Boom! Box of braids!
01:31So if you notice that one side of the braid is either tighter or not as close to the part,
01:35you can use the end of a comb to actually fluff out the braid to make it larger and closer
01:40to the center part.
01:42So I get it. Box of braids for boxing.
01:45But where else can I use them?
01:47Well, you can also wear them to dinner with friends.
01:51Other five of us.
01:52No, not everyone's here.
01:54We can't sit yet.
01:57You can also wear them on a sunset cruise, a yacht party, tropical vacation helps tame the frizz.
