In medieval Europe, monsters and plagues ravaged the continent, pushing six kingdoms to the brink of ruin. Six kings journeyed to the Rift of Ashes and begged the true dragon Sera Vale for six precious belly‑scales. They swore a sacred oath: the scales should only defend their homelands, never fuel conquest. Sera sacrificed her scales, gravely draining her life essence, and fell into deep slumber.
