Discover the ingenious mechanical engineering that allows a scuba diving regulator to tame 3,000 PSI of tank pressure down to ambient breathing air without relying on a single circuit or electronic sensor. You will explore how balanced diaphragms, pistons, and demand valves dynamically adjust airflow with every breath at varying ocean depths. By the end, you will fully grasp the fluid dynamics and thermodynamic principles that keep divers safe in extreme underwater environments.
