1. Form a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. 2. Separate out a small lock of hair and set it aside. 3. Secure the ponytail very tightly with elastic, but don't pull it all the way through on the final twist, leaving it doubled over on itself in a little loop. 4. Take the set-aside lock of hair and wrap it around the base of the ponytail to hide the elastic. 5. Secure with a bobby pin.
