00:00Uh, uh, uh.
00:02Busy chasing the carrot that we are not.
00:05Hi, I'm Annie, New York editor of Refinery29,
00:08and today I'm at Pearl Studios with James Elsap,
00:11who is Beyoncé's choreographer and now our choreographer.
00:14James, what are we doing today?
00:16Today I'm going to turn you all into some fierce divas.
00:19We're going to strut our stuff just like Miss B would on stage, honey.
00:22Just like B.
00:24One thing I love about Beyoncé is that she knows what she wants to go for.
00:28So the one thing she loves is to kind of tell a story of empowerment through choreography,
00:34which is where this kind of comes from.
00:36So just use all of your inner womanly stuff.
00:42So we start here.
00:44Our left knee is kind of bent.
00:45Our right knee is going to slide out twice.
00:48It's going to slide out here.
00:50So while that happens, our left hand just slides up our arm.
00:56My.
00:57Purr.
00:57Flip your head.
00:58It's in the face.
00:59Uh-huh.
01:00That's what I want to see, honey.
01:00That's it.
01:01We have to point because we're a diva.
01:03So we have to demand that our power is endless.
01:07Yes?
01:07End.
01:08Less.
01:09Power.
01:10Ho.
01:10Purr.
01:11And boom.
01:12Boom.
01:13Boom.
01:14Boom.
01:14But what we do is we lift our leg and we push.
01:17Churning butter.
01:18Yeah.
01:19Okay.
01:19We're smooth.
01:20We're sensual.
01:21We get it.
01:23Now we got a message.
01:25Yeah?
01:26The crazier the better, honey.
01:27We ain't got time to be pretty now.
01:29We about to go crazy.
01:31Crazy in love.
01:35You're ready to dance like Beyonce.
01:37Woo!
01:38Dear Beyonce, please hear our prayers.
01:40Please bless us with your dance moves, hair flips, and booty pops in Mr. Carter and Blue Ivy's name.
01:46Amen.
01:47Thank be very much.
01:48My persuasion can build a nation.
01:57Endless power, a love we can devour.
02:03You'll do anything for me.
