00:04I'm standing outside of Starbucks headquarters where all my caffeine dreams
00:08are about to come true. And I'm going to get a crash course in cupping which is
00:13how the pros taste coffee.
00:21We're doing cupping because this is what our development team uses to kind of
00:24develop the coffee that they produce. So each origin is going to taste very
00:28different and you're gonna get a display of that here in a second. And you were
00:31saying that you guys go through about 600 to 800 cups of coffee a day? Yeah, that's
00:36crazy. That's about our average currently. So I'm gonna start. I'm gonna make a fun
00:41noise. Whoa. And I'm gonna spit it out. What you're doing when we're slurping, you're
00:49aspirating the coffee all over your tongue. So this one I got black pepper, this one
00:54I'm getting like bell pepper. Interesting. Okay, why don't you try?
00:58All right. Here we go. All right, so I just slurp. Yeah, that was great. I'm not quite
01:09getting the bell pepper. Okay.
01:14Oh, so this one I am getting the black pepper. Oh, all right.
01:19All right, slurp time. You haven't been spitting any of these. I'm really impressed.
01:23Oh, yeah. I forgot. I want to see you spit just once. All right, here we go. I think we
01:31gotta get a shot of the spitting. Here we go. Let's see if I actually remember to spit
01:35this time. There's a lot to think about.
01:42That was great. I wouldn't recommend doing the slurp and spit every time you grab a coffee,
01:47but next time you order a venti, give aspirating a try. That was good. Right? Yeah. I was trying
01:54to show off. That was good.
