Kieran is no ordinary man.
After defeating the monstrous Abyss Behemoth, he proves himself to be one of the most formidable warriors in the realm.

His masters reveal that the overwhelming Abyss power within him could destroy the entire realm unless he consummates his marriage to his destined bride before his twenty-fifth birthday.
With the fate of the kingdom hanging in the balance, Kieran returns to Avalon to fulfill the marriage promise made long ago.

However, instead of returning in royal splendor, Kieran disguises himself in the humble clothing of a peasant.
He hopes to reunite with Briony without revealing his extraordinary status.

As the legendary ring begins to glow in her presence, an unexpected connection emerges.
