00:02so keep an eye on cave cowl and we will call but how they can bring more width and dynamism
00:06from
00:07a wide area Roger gonna fall you've got to keep an eye on him and his ability to get forward
00:10in
00:10the right moments the one change is Raquel may coming in on that right-hand side we are on the
00:20way in Harrison New Jersey Red Bull New York beginning this match out of the top nine positions
00:25in the Eastern Conference the first matchup trying to play that ball in behind he has got 14
00:31is it just one of Leo Messi this season it's not something you know Rodrigo de Paul for but
00:3819 goal involvements in all he's been excellent for into Miami and he likes to drift to this right-hand
00:46side to Paul finds a little bit of space a little bit of joy and then he has the quality
00:51to deliver
00:51the final ball we've seen that for inner Miami we've seen that in the World Cup for Argentina
00:56as you take a look at the inner Miami lineup good run there for Kate Cowell and it's a powerful
01:01run
01:01he gets in behind gets the cross towards an epic and the flick is just wide from Julian Hall what
01:07a chance early on for the youngster position Dunker has time and space and it's the perfect ball
01:13Kate Cowell does so well because he knows he has the running of Mikael good for such to get himself
01:19out
01:19in space Julian Hall just arriving at the park is started off on that right centre-back position
01:31back from the floor the making sofa good football this position
01:40at the back post unsure who got the final touch doesn't matter Red Bull New York have
01:46the all-important opening goal that this Red Bull team was gonna play with some personality some
01:54courage and try to make the game their own I just love this football through the midfield such
02:00confidence and good moving up the ball good combination play between with many and Don Corbin
02:06once again we saw it on the earlier plays Kate Cowell doing a good job of tiptoeing that line staying
02:11on
02:11side and once you get that wide play how can you get numbers forward how can you get players crash
02:17in
02:17the box well in Julian Hall in Rubacaba they have enough just his ability on the ball to get out
02:23of
02:23tight situation so shifty in midfield really good awareness and understanding balance alongside
02:30but many of that midfield don't need that level of consistency out of him tonight again record
02:36I could finally use the term press resistant right his ability to turn either way we kill me Lujan tell
02:45me
02:45wants it back Brazilian youngster put on the pressure again from so who's been highly aggressive in those
02:51challenges cow to believe he made his almost every seven years ago now Kate Cowell with San Jose spell
03:02Chivas still just 23 years of age hold a lot of space for a moment won't be woman
03:08they can try to find the local car to the goalkeeper goes down
03:12oh
03:13this is
03:14oh
03:14oh
03:17ahead of into Miami well ahead of into Miami in the Eastern Conference what a season they have put together
03:25we will cover trip up all through we'll have another opportunity go to go
03:34the net cap replay is brought to you by AT&T look how close this was
03:39when the white player from Red Bulls have found themselves in 1v1 situation more times than not
03:44they're doing a good job winning their duels exposing the back line and trying to get ball to the box
03:49goes that wide for Regal on cross in Raquel me caught it
03:55still a jump better army on the turn three bodies in the way of that shot as better army tried
04:01to go for
04:01goal
04:03You've got to imagine Michael Bradley just oozing with pride when you defend it that way the the
04:08one of the words that gets thrown around a lot for teams that have success is commitment
04:12three different players lunging at that challenge at that potential shot there
04:18not only are they trying to preserve this clean sheet
04:27Almost a mirror image of the chance
04:29I need you scripted plays you would say in this version of our football right but
04:33this seems to be a pattern of play that has worked on consistently from Red Bulls
04:37breaking press changing the point of attack now get Kate Cowell in a position where he can deliver a ball
04:42across this
04:47It is into Miami who get us in the way to start the second half
04:50the old pink attacking from right to left
04:53David Beckham in attendance as well today to watch his side and
04:56well after the run of form
05:00Has to be a little bit of bemusement as to why they've struggled so much
05:05Messier factor but still so much quality in this 11
05:10Maybe once again, I feel like a broken record. It's just that final touch
05:14Rubacaba finds himself in a great position. Once again, he's got to make the most of it
05:20Well played by don't course so folk loses out but they win it back quickly
05:24They were sitting back. They were deeper, but now they've taking control here again
05:31Harper's gonna come on in a moment for Cal
05:34Maybe Cowell's last act here as he tries to race forward
05:38Ball played through big chance
05:42Right in front of goal and George rubel Calvert right at Dane St. Clair. He should be on a hat
05:48-trick
05:50And I'll say that tongue-in-cheek either
05:52AT&T another massive chance and this one might be the the worst of the bunch
06:07Like a long good raid by neilis again
06:09He's done that a couple of times runners on either side neilas. It should be two nil and it's another
06:14save
06:16Dane St. Clair keeping his team in it from left back today
06:20And it struggled in a couple of those won't be ones with
06:24Kane Cowell in particular
06:25Harper equally offering energy since coming on the pole
06:30Frey making the run forward
06:33But elford holding him up
06:35All back for messy
06:36Suarez back for messy edge of the box messy little give it go with morales
06:46Missed everybody the flag has gone up
06:50Suarez is losing his mind, but this is one of the things that ian fray
06:53It's an underrated part of his game as a fullback to get forward does well to keep possession, but now
06:58just this
06:59combination play between
07:01leo messi and suarez
07:03They do so well to combine and i'm not sure where the offside it comes is coming from unless the
07:08referee is waving for
07:10A corner kick it's it's a corner so i'm quite sure whether it was
07:15Longcore
07:18Harper they've opened into miami up here on the turn it's super voting right at dane st. Clair that one
07:25of his easiest saves
07:32Messi into miami now with a sense of urgency coming forward suarez
07:38sweeping pass out wide
07:41Suarez has a back edge of the box chance to cross
07:45regular on up at the far post and his harmless header is
07:48comfortable for ethan horvath
07:57This stage of the season mo so much on the line for a red bull new york and they've played
08:02that way from minute one
08:04And they're inching so close to what would be a massive win
08:09I'd say red bull treated this game with the respect and
08:12And the level of urgency that's required from the opening whistle
08:17They've had to
08:19Go through spells where yeah inner miami are going to impose themselves
08:22They have enough quality players inner miami to keep possession for large spells of the game
08:29Not over the finish line yet messi's in possession
08:38The big opportunity that they're looking for and of course is conjured up by the wizard himself
08:43I mean it's perfect pass good running off the ball for morales
08:48But ethan horvath when you've been a passenger in these kind of games you have to be switched on for
08:52one that
08:53That's right. Don't touch for messi
08:56Good read again by the sanders center back comes across and launches that just about anywhere
09:01Super voting trying to put pressure on
09:07mikhail
09:07St. Clair and that was left a little bit short
09:10Harper is going to get a second opportunity
09:12Harper with left space to attack
09:18It's going to be a massive victory for red bull new york they seal it late
09:22the veteran off the bench
09:25And what a performance from michael bradley's men 2-0
09:30Press 90 minutes of pressing hell from this red bull side
09:36A high line once again of confrontation the initial challenge doesn't come off for harper
09:40But don core who's been excellent on the night
09:43Steps in to keep possession for his side
09:47And now with an exposed back line from inner miami. It's all about decision making harper
09:51He could have played this ball initially, but no he takes that first touch to create a little bit of
09:55separation
09:57And emil forsberg he hasn't been on the pitch very long
10:01Gets an absolute gift of a goal i'll go 5-1 oh wow
10:08And there is the final whistle big cheers from the red bull new york fans massive win in their race
10:14to get back to the playoffs
