In Israel's election there is no box to tick. Behind a cardboard screen, voters pick a paper slip for their party, marked with Hebrew letters, put it in an envelope and drop it in the ballot box.
Soldiers, police, hospital patients and diplomats who can't vote at their home station use a double envelope: an anonymous inner one and an outer one with their name, so no one votes twice. Those are checked and counted last, at the Central Elections Committee in the Knesset, Jerusalem.
