"Starving on the Don’s Fortune" is a dark, gripping mafia romance, runaway bride thriller, and bitter redemption short drama series. For four long years, our female lead lived inside the gilded cage of the city's most feared, ruthless mafia Don. Despite living in an opulent obsidian mansion worth billions, she was practically starving on his fortune—emotionally neglected, isolated from the world, and forced to endure the humiliating insults of his corrupt lieutenants and a scheming socialite mistress while the Don treated her presence like a given certainty.
The final breaking point arrives when the Don fails to protect her during a rival cartel raid, prioritizing his territory negotiations and leaving her injured without medical supplies. Gathering her remaining strength, she leaves her wedding ring on the marble vanity, erases her existence, and vanishes into the night, stepping into her true heritage as the primary trustee of an international logistics syndicate. Her sudden disappearance shatters the cold Don's legendary composure, plunging the underworld king into an uncontrollable spiral of agonizing grief and madness as his empire crumbles without her silent guidance.
The electrifying climax hits at an exclusive seaside private hangar where she prepares to board an international charter flight. Paralyzing shock freezes the guards as hundreds of armored syndicate convoys seal off the airfield, and the feared Don steps through the pouring rain, falling to his knees on the tarmac with bloodshot eyes to beg for another chance while offering his entire underworld fortune into her hands. Looking down at him with serene indifference, she steps into the plane and takes off, leaving the broken Don behind forever.
