00:00His team were in form, they've won three back-to-back.
00:02When you have a congested period, if you're in form, you just want to play it every game.
00:07It's play, recover, play, and sometimes the players enjoy that as well.
00:13The games come thick and fast, they're in good form, they have momentum,
00:17and, you know, three wins for this Al Nasser side, they'll come here full of confidence,
00:22expecting to go top of the league tonight.
00:26Michel Felix, in good spirits, before this game,
00:31side today, so it'll be interesting to see whether he plays
00:34as a central striker or in the wide areas too.
00:39A very big Friday in the Roshan Saudi League.
01:01And the vast experience of multiple title winner Mohamed Al-Jafali
01:06and Aghlat Kliloni, Aydel Mouwalaad, all return for Al-Faisali.
01:11They replace Abdullah bin Sabah.
01:14Abdullah Isek, the Senegalese international.
01:19He's handed on the armband to the experience of Al-Jafali today.
01:24Our match officials from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
01:27Abdullah Al-Awedan is our referee.
01:30I can't hear my friend.
01:32I have a blue.
01:33Three.
01:37Al-Jafali winning six titles during his time with Al-Halal.
01:42Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo ending his way.
01:47Abdullah Al-Hamdan and Awad Aman come into the Al-Nasser team,
01:51which edge past Neom SC 1-0.
01:54Ayman Yahya and Angelo drop to the bench.
01:57Al-Hamdan will offer support to Cristiano Ronaldo,
02:00while Aman a victory here today for Al-Faisali.
02:08They get the game underway.
02:11Wearing all burgundy, defending the goal.
02:14Mouwalaad.
02:19Mane.
02:20He gets there before Benawi and there's Awad and Ronaldo flagged offside.
02:30Mouwalaad see drifting offside.
02:32Maybe expected to his run.
02:38Long clearance downfield from Fernando Pacheco.
02:44Yeah, it's actually an arm from Mendy.
02:46Nothing given.
02:48Abushal with a quick throw in and Shalfelix.
02:51And he was Oli on Felix.
02:53Very, very quickly closing him down.
02:56And you can see striking for the ball,
02:57but kicking through the back of him.
03:00Al-Fatah during the transfer window.
03:05Now Mane.
03:07Al-Hamdan in the central area.
03:09And his shot finds the corner.
03:12And the returning.
03:14Al-Hamdan makes an instant impact.
03:19So often,
03:21an impact player from the bench in the Roshan Saudi League.
03:25But given the start today,
03:28and El Nasser have the lead within four minutes.
03:31Well, I've got it.
03:32I'm straight back through the middle of the field.
03:34There's three players around him.
03:36No one closing him down.
03:37He takes a touch from Ronaldo.
03:40And then opens up
03:41and beautifully dispatches it into the bottom corner.
03:46What a selection by the manager.
03:47He's back in the side.
03:49Al-Hamdan.
03:50He's now scored his third goal of the season.
03:53Chance brilliantly.
03:55Not sure if Ronaldo actually touched it
03:57or just leaves it for him.
03:59No, he takes it off of Ronaldo's toe.
04:01And then opens up
04:03and brilliantly side-foots into the bottom corner
04:06to the applause of his manager.
04:09So Ronaldo
04:10not picking up his first assist of the season
04:12in the Roshan Saudi League.
04:13But he won't be in the Roshan Saudi League.
04:16But only the seventh best away from home.
04:19And what could be a very tight race,
04:20that could make the difference.
04:22But here is Mane.
04:23Smartly away from two challengers.
04:25Looked to slide it through towards Ronaldo.
04:27But it was blocked.
04:29Set keeps the ball in play.
04:30Mane
04:30not giving him a moment.
04:34Set managing to hold him off.
04:37And in the end,
04:39two Senegalese internationals
04:41in direct opposition.
04:42And it will be an Al-Faisali throw.
04:44And it will be a really big job as Al-Nassar
04:50look to retain their title.
04:53And Kosta bouncing off the challenge there.
04:56Quickly forward again from
04:58Jao-Felix.
05:00Ronaldo.
05:01Well, he tumbles.
05:03And I think he's hurt.
05:07No free kick given.
05:10He looked to be sandwiched between
05:11two Al-Faisali players.
05:14Absolutely, Nigel.
05:15He just saw the challenge coming.
05:17Toed it forward.
05:18And now Mendy at the other end
05:19on the volley.
05:20And that wasn't too far wide.
05:21Yeah, first chance for Mendy.
05:23Anatharay team feeling
05:25that that challenge
05:28deserved a free kick,
05:29I have to say.
05:31It's Al-Faisali in sec.
05:33Two players who were involved.
05:36Now Benawi.
05:39Long looking for Mendy.
05:42No flag at the moment,
05:43but the effort was skied
05:45and then the flag goes up.
05:48Yeah, you can see Mendy run.
05:50Just that hesitation.
05:52It's good defending.
05:54Al-Amalie just steps up
05:56as that ball's played.
05:58Mendy in full flight
05:59runs into the offside position.
06:01The 21-year-old has
06:03a long time to manage
06:05that yellow card.
06:06Now Mane.
06:06That's a good ball.
06:08Jao-Felix peeling wide.
06:10Mane, Ronaldo
06:11and Alhamdan in the centre.
06:13And it's very deep
06:14towards Alhamdan.
06:16Well, appeals for handball there
06:17as they...
06:18Stab hat.
06:20That was the pullback
06:21from Alhamdan
06:22but it seemed to strike
06:23the chest of Alshankiti.
06:25Yeah, officials
06:27absolutely right.
06:28In the top flight
06:29for 12 seasons
06:30before that
06:31which included
06:31a King's Cup victory
06:34and an appearance
06:35in the Asian Champions League.
06:37Mane
06:37away from Barnawi
06:39in towards
06:41Jao-Felix.
06:43That's...
06:44There's Jao-Felix's strike
06:46off the sixth boot.
06:50To Farley's flick.
06:54It's quickly one back
06:55and Ronaldo
06:56was looking to release
06:57Mane
06:58but it's
06:59overheat
07:00gathered by...
07:08that was a late challenge
07:11that was a poor challenge
07:12as well.
07:13Samu Costa
07:14yellow card for him.
07:16Costa was the victim
07:17of a similar sort of challenge
07:19a few moments ago
07:20but
07:20there's no way
07:22to exact retribution.
07:23Well into double figures now.
07:27Jao-Felix
07:29Ronaldo
07:31away from Girotto
07:32and he's hit the post.
07:35Alhamdan
07:37and then when he strikes it
07:39I wonder if the goalkeeper
07:40gets anything on the Ronaldo shot
07:42as he comes back
07:43off of the far post.
07:46Jao-Felix
07:47away when he backheeled it.
07:50So you see the Ronaldo attempt.
07:52Keeper beaten.
07:53Couldn't quite get it
07:54inside that far post.
07:59Abushal
08:01again the backheel
08:02from Jao-Felix
08:03Alhamdan
08:04Mane
08:06looking to commit the challenges
08:07another backheel
08:08and Jao-Felix with the cross
08:10but Ronaldo
08:11have come in from the far post
08:13who has moved on
08:13in search of
08:15first team opportunities
08:17he was on the bench
08:18for
08:18both of the victories
08:19in the Asian Champions League
08:21Mane will spot that
08:22quickly forward towards Ronaldo
08:24but Pacheco gets there first.
08:28Well Ronaldo's
08:28Girotto
08:29the veteran Brazilian
08:32lining this up
08:35he may be the decoy
08:36but it's Girotto
08:37who does hit it
08:38and then Girotto again
08:39and it's not too far wide.
08:42It's a good wall
08:43initially
08:44and then through legs
08:46but not troubling Bento
08:48but it's certainly there
08:50it is there
08:51corner into the near post
08:53headed away by
08:54Martinez
08:57Benawi
08:57there's no flag
08:59and the cross in
09:01and Bento makes the save
09:03it was
09:03Al Mokra
09:04if he wasn't
09:05he was miles offside
09:11two yards offside
09:12before the cross comes in
09:14and it struck the hand
09:15of Al Mokra
09:15and it was as if
09:16he was trying to explain
09:17why he was making that decision
09:19the game swept up
09:20the other end
09:20here's Mendy now
09:21he's away from Martinez
09:23Alexander Mendy
09:24but an excellent recovery challenge
09:26from Abushal
09:27from Abushal
09:29and he's clearly onside
09:31gets across Martinez
09:32but look at the ground
09:34he makes up
09:34great pace
09:36brilliant block
09:38covers
09:39it's a poor attempt
09:40when they had numbers
09:42forward again
09:43still no strikes on target
09:45from the home team
09:47they've had seven shots now
09:49and Al Nasser
09:51have not had a shot
09:52since the calling
09:54two here for Al Nasser
09:55to
09:57make this safe
09:58at half time
09:59it is
10:00Al Faisal
10:010
10:01Al Nasser
10:021
10:05it's from the coach
10:06that you've got to hit the target
10:08however tame those shots are
10:10you've got to make the goalkeeper work
10:11it can be a silly second
10:13yellow
10:13that could
10:14become a dismissal
10:1713 fouls
10:18in the first half
10:19only one goal
10:20Al Nasser lead
10:21they get the second half
10:22underway
10:24Ronaldo will be
10:25one of the targets
10:27so you're picked up by one
10:28so you sometimes take
10:30the one defender you have
10:32onto the other
10:33central defender
10:34so you're almost occupying
10:35two players
10:36to allow other players
10:38to come and use the space
10:40that you create
10:40by operating
10:41or occupying the two
10:43Ronaldo
10:50no flow to the game
10:52to this point
10:54Ronaldo scored
10:56against 24 of the 25 clubs
10:59he's faced
11:00in the Roshan Saudi league
11:01looking to
11:02increase that tally here today
11:05and it's Ronaldo's header
11:07and Ronaldo makes
11:09no mistake
11:12goal number
11:139-8-2
11:19a fantastic delivery
11:21from Joao Felix
11:23and the movement
11:25from Ronaldo
11:26too much
11:26for Al Faisal
11:27and that should settle it
11:31right at the start
11:31of the second half
11:32well I tell you
11:33you're absolutely right
11:34Nigel
11:35it's just his movement
11:36it's fantastic
11:36in respect
11:37he's lining up central
11:38and he's in an offside position
11:40before the free kick's given
11:42and then he just moves
11:44maybe two of the near post
11:46watch him move
11:46just goes forward
11:48he is just kept on side
11:50by sec
11:51and then he flicks it
11:53brilliantly
11:53into the far corner
11:55maybe the last touch
11:56comes off the defender
12:00I think the last touch
12:02is from sec
12:02but Ronaldo
12:04Girotto
12:04Girotto
12:05Ronaldo with the first
12:07the flick on
12:09and then a slight touch
12:11from Zonferen
12:13to play to Ronaldo
12:17there's the onside
12:18for the Ronaldo
12:19header
12:23the defender's boot
12:25playing him on
12:29onside
12:30thanks for a couple of
12:31Ahmed
12:31Al Ismail
12:32will be checking this
12:34he's the VAR official
12:39well it comes down
12:40Nigel
12:41to the moment
12:41that that ball struck
12:43as Ronaldo's coming
12:44he's coming back
12:45from an offside position
12:46and he's coming back
12:48into the
12:49defensive players
12:50he comes back
12:52with some movement
12:52towards the near post
12:54he's very very close
12:55well Posta Coglu
12:57convinced it should be a goal
12:59along with everybody else
13:00and Al Nasser persuasion
13:02he clearly is
13:03yeah
13:03and there
13:04his staff
13:05Posta Coglu
13:06staff will be looking
13:07at the monitors
13:07and looking
13:08as
13:10the exact point
13:12that
13:13Gio Felix
13:14strikes this
13:15free kick
13:16into the box
13:17goal given
13:19so Ronaldo
13:20can celebrate
13:20all over again
13:23that was a tight call
13:25but
13:27he's always looking
13:28there
13:28they're clearly
13:29looking at the ball
13:30Ronaldo's coming
13:31from behind them
13:32off of their shoulder
13:32and he just gets
13:34himself back
13:34back into that
13:35onside position
13:38here's Alhamdan
13:39Ronaldo waits
13:40in the centre
13:40there's Ronaldo
13:41again
13:45this is brilliant
13:46this is brilliant
13:47because
13:47as Alhamdan
13:48is put through
13:50down the right hand side
13:51Ronaldo checks his run
13:52he stays onside
13:53as long as that ball
13:55is pulled back
13:56behind him
13:57which I'm sure it is
13:58it's a lovely finish
13:59from Ronaldo
14:00but great movement
14:01to get himself
14:02into the position
14:03to score his second
14:07Cristiano Ronaldo
14:09scores the goal
14:10to send
14:11Al Nasser
14:12back on top
14:13of the Roshan
14:13singing on 1000
14:14oh Alhamdan
14:16is offside
14:19he's offside
14:20when that ball's
14:20played
14:20Ronaldo isn't
14:22I think this
14:23may well be given
14:24offside
14:25but not
14:26Ronaldo
14:31well those
14:32are the sort
14:32of opportunities
14:33that
14:33he really lives
14:35off
14:37but
14:38there's the
14:38frustration
14:39Schultz once
14:40again
14:40yeah
14:42this is
14:42the run
14:43of Alhamdan
14:45just
14:48almost
14:49bending
14:49his run
14:52itches
14:53offside
14:54pulled back
14:55to Ronaldo
14:55held his ground
14:56and made sure
14:57he was
14:58that's been
14:59given away
15:00Alcabadi
15:01Alhamdan
15:02Ronaldo
15:03wide open
15:05spaces here
15:06for
15:06Abishal
15:07to dart
15:08into the
15:08penalty area
15:10with the
15:10cross
15:12now
15:13Xalfelix
15:15Alhamdan
15:17Mane
15:18two to
15:19pick out
15:19but
15:20a good
15:21block
15:21by Alshankiti
15:23and it's
15:23a corner
15:24but I'll tell you
15:25what they've
15:25done really
15:25well
15:26Alnesa
15:27will flight
15:28in the
15:28corner
15:28once again
15:33Ronaldo
15:34gives
15:35the signal
15:39it's deeper
15:40towards
15:41Martinez
15:43Mane
15:45Alcabadi
15:47Osamu
15:47Costa
15:47lost out
15:48but then
15:48wins it back
15:49and he drives
15:50in the shot
15:50which is
15:53sliced
15:54Siouan
15:55again
15:57Alhamdan
15:58and Alhamdan
15:59who are
15:59back to

16:02ball away
16:02to
16:02Siouan
16:06Alshankiti
16:07Bongondar
16:09and Al
16:09Faisalik
16:10back in
16:11the game
16:15well you
16:16can see
16:16Martin
16:17is
16:17frustration
16:18because they
16:19should have
16:19cleared their
16:20lines
16:21Alnesa
16:24I think it
16:25was aimed
16:25towards
16:26Mendy
16:26but Bongondar
16:27got there
16:27first
16:28and his
16:29movement
16:29was too
16:30much for
16:30Alhamri
16:31and he's
16:32now scored
16:32this season
16:33his three
16:34goals
16:34against
16:34Al Halal
16:35Al Etihad
16:36and Al Nasser
16:38and I'll tell you
16:39what it's a
16:39fantastic header
16:40because it is
16:45Angelo
16:46oh he's
16:46given the
16:46ball away
16:47it's quickly
16:48forward towards
16:49Mendy
16:49it's a great
16:50chance for a
16:51really good
16:51block
16:52just keep
16:53the ball
16:53he tries
16:54to cut it
16:56and Mendy
16:57with the
16:57opportunity
16:58it's his
16:59cross into
16:59the area
17:00Mendy
17:00goes for
17:00the acrobatics
17:01but it's
17:03regathered
17:03by Alshankiti
17:05and his
17:06cross is
17:06deep
17:06and Al
17:07Sabait
17:07was the
17:08player
17:08arriving
17:09but
17:09he
17:10knocked it
17:10too high
17:11weary
17:12at this
17:12stage
17:12they've
17:13put a
