The film follows the Thousand Madleens to Gaza movement, a citizens’ initiative that set sail to challenge the blockade imposed on Gaza. It explores Palestine’s history and present realities, as well as the trajectories of individuals who chose to act rather than remain spectators. We made this film independently, with the intention of amplifying Palestinian voices within a noised media landscape. With this film, we hope to contribute, in our own way, to engaging with the urgency of the present moment.
