00:02Excellent work, Talon. You've surpassed yourself.
00:05It wasn't me, Your Majesty.
00:07Then who?
00:08No rider in Athalan surpasses your skill, Talon.
00:11Only one man commands dragons and elements without seals.
00:15Kael the Wing.
00:17The Wing is a folk legend.
00:19No one has ever seen his face.
00:21Your Majesty, Lumerys and Viseria are massing a million troops at our border.
00:25Their riders may have caused this chaos to test our defenses.
00:33If our enemies command such power, Arya's marriage is the least of our fears.
00:38Aetherland will fall.
00:46Pay up, elite riders. You couldn't spot a champion inside its own cage.
00:50Shut up. It was blind luck.
00:52Enjoy it, pretty boy. At the tournament, it will make you beg and squeal like a pig.
00:56You lost to a cripple and a runt? Pay me, then crawl back to your wasteland home.
01:00For you, ladies, buy something dangerously expensive for yourselves.
01:05Lord Caelan, no man in Athalan blesses us as you do.
01:09My lord, this necklace is so unique.
01:13Why not gift it to your favorite girl?
01:17Hands off the merchandise, sweetheart.
01:19That's my lucky charm.
01:23Look at him.
01:24Enemies at our gates and Drakken's heir thinks only of gold and women.
01:27If this is Aethalen's future, we have none.
01:30How far the sun has fallen from the father.
01:33Our riders cannot win this, Augustus. We should cancel the tournament.
01:37We cannot, your majesty.
01:39The royal decree has been proclaimed throughout the realm.
01:42Break our word now, and our enemies will have their cause for war.
01:45Then we honor the challenge, and we emerge victorious.
01:48Summon every worthy rider in Aethalen to defeat the foreigners before the realm,
01:51and their excuse for war dies with their pride.
01:54Alas, who can carry an empire on their shoulders?
01:55Sire, Duke Eli's second son, named Daron, is already bonded with a high-tier shadow-winged dragon.
02:01He's but 18 years old, a true prodigy.
02:04Seraphine is armed by Duke Eli?
02:05Yes, your majesty. He may be our last hope.
02:08Hope is not certainty.
02:10Talon, I have another task for you.
02:13Command me, sire.
02:14Test every noble heir in secret.
02:16Strike without warning.
02:18Any who fail are not only unworthy of the arena, but also of my daughter's hand.
02:22Yes, your majesty.
02:23Sire, what about Caelan Thorn?
02:25Shall I test him?
02:26The Pactless?
02:27He couldn't bind with a garden lizard.
02:29Don't dishonor your blade.
02:30It is a tragedy.
02:32Drake and the war god left behind a broken bloodline.
02:34No empty cups tonight!
02:36No man in Aethalen can match you, Lord Caelan.
02:38More! I want enough gold to regret tomorrow!
