00:00How would the world be if Russia had never existed?
00:03First of all, the continents would be radically different.
00:06Without Russia, there would be a huge ocean of Russia
00:09transforming Europe into an independent continent.
00:12This change would create new roads for many countries
00:15and would open many maritime routes.
00:17For example, the maritime travel between the United States
00:20and Europe would be much more direct.
00:23In addition, the history would be considerably modified.
00:26The Mongolian expansion would directly affect Europe.
00:30And during the Second World War,
00:32without the threat of the Soviet Union to the East,
00:35the Nazi Germany could focus its military efforts exclusively
00:38on the Great Britain and other fronts,
00:41which could change the development of the war in a significant way.
00:45The Western allies would have perhaps had to face different challenges
00:48and develop alternative strategies to fight against the Axe.
00:52In addition, if Russia had not existed,
00:55the war in Ukraine would not have been caused,
00:58preventing the situation happening currently.
