The School for Bad Boys follows Cody Calloway, an openly gay teenager sent to Maplewood Reform School, a facility described as the last stop before prison for the problem sons of wealthy families. From the beginning, Cody is made to feel unwelcome in his new surroundings.
Maplewood brings together rebellious boys from privileged backgrounds, creating a challenging environment for anyone who struggles to fit in. Cody's arrival adds another layer to the school's social tensions as he navigates life among students with difficult reputations.
This 2026 TV mini series combines school drama, teen conflict, and coming-of-age themes. Its reform school setting provides the backdrop for a story about identity, acceptance, and the challenges of being different in an environment where belonging is far from guaranteed.
The School for Bad Boys is suited to viewers who enjoy character-focused teen dramas, stories about troubled students, and school settings filled with social tension. Cody's experience at Maplewood is the central hook, introducing a teenager who must find his footing in a place where he is not immediately accepted.
