The School for Bad Boys introduces Cody Calloway, an openly gay teenager sent to Maplewood Reform School, where the troubled sons of wealthy families are placed as a last stop before prison. Instead of finding an easy fresh start, Cody enters a school where he is immediately unwelcome.
The institution's reputation and its rebellious students create a difficult environment for a teenager who already stands apart from his classmates. Cody must navigate the social challenges of a school filled with problem boys from privileged backgrounds, making acceptance and belonging important themes in the series.
As a 2026 TV mini series, The School for Bad Boys blends micro-drama storytelling with teen drama and a reform school setting. Its premise focuses on a young person entering a hostile social environment and the conflicts that can arise when students with different identities and backgrounds are forced together.
For viewers interested in character-driven school stories, troubled teenagers, and coming-of-age themes, this series offers a distinctive setup centered on Cody's arrival at Maplewood.
