00:06We're underway at the Sao Miguel Stadium. Santa Clara in red, hosting Benfica. Matchday nine in the
00:15League of Portugal. And beaten home team in fourth. Benfica making headway down the
00:27right through Alexander Barre.
00:42Shot comes in, and it trickles through to the keeper.
00:58Flicked on there, nothing doing for Santa Clara, out for a goal kick. Three wins for
01:03Benfica since the international break, and their one-league defeat which came at
01:08Porto. Great skill from Vinicius Lopez. Might go by himself here. Well, he found a
01:21teammate in the middle, Fernando. And Kika's defending the suspect. Kika at home.
01:30I think wins for the Eagles. Two draws at the Sao Miguel Stadium.
01:40Cristiani to Pavlidis. And there's a good ball for Rafa.
01:48Now Franca together.
02:03And again.
02:07Brenner.
02:14Lucas Suarez.
02:15The shot is weak, but spilled. Prospect.
02:21Canfica might have been behind.
02:25Natal for Palinha.
02:28The pitch not helping him there. Fernando for Santa Clara. Good balance.
02:32Somehow still on his feet into the area. Just couldn't make the connection at the end.
02:38The gears.
02:39Showing a really good turn of pace. Great ball across as well, but it was too quick for his
02:44teammates there.
02:53Cristiani finding it easy against a team that only conceded one goal in the last four league
03:00matches they've played. Here goes Brenner. We know he's quick, but batters really well.
03:10A little shove from Brenner suggesting he's enjoying coming up against Alexander Baer.
03:19Here's a corner and a penalty.
03:22The referee spotting a handball in there.
03:27Claudio Pereira must have had a booch. One win out of 20.
03:36This team have got a real boost here.
03:42Flicked on.
03:47And they were appealing straight away.
03:50And now, they have a chance to take the lead.
03:59It's Fernando.
04:03It's 1-0 Santa Clara.
04:10Second goal of the season for the Brazilian.
04:20Suarez diving out of the way as Fernando went down the middle.
04:27They're all good penalties if they end up in the net.
04:31And there was no doubt about that one.
04:34A 21-year-old with a huge goal for his side.
04:38Santa Clara won.
04:40Benfica nil.
04:50Confident penalty kick that.
04:53Quite a few of the Santa Clara players started out in a pretty big club and had to work his
05:00way back up to the Portuguese top flight.
05:05Rafa for Benfica.
05:06Nice ball across.
05:08And good communication.
05:11Fernando holding onto possession.
05:14Good skill from Pacheco.
05:16Excellent pass as well for Brenner.
05:18It's 3-on-3 in this attack.
05:22Brenner to the back post.
05:24Oh, it was just drifting away.
05:28First half for Santa Clara so far.
05:31It's about to get even better.
05:36And Siago.
05:41Well, Santa Clara applauded off as well.
05:44They might be.
05:45Excellent first half display from them.
05:47They got a bit lucky getting a penalty for a handball from a corner.
05:51But Fernando took his chance on 32 minutes.
06:07And Santa Clara get the second half underway.
06:10Leading by a goal to nil against Benfica.
06:12It is fourth against second on match day nine in Portugal.
06:17Santa Clara unbeaten so far in the league.
06:20In the league.
06:20Old red.
06:27Alls volutes, pay to nov ub hold down.
06:29Eight looks good.
06:30It's almost time.

06:32Carville
06:32needs this for
06:32Lucas Suarez., M I'm sure
06:39he's
06:40delighted with how quiet his night has been so far. Is that going to change?
06:47Sheldon up into the wall
06:49They are missing their main man in attack
06:57I thought so but
06:59Ancelo Paciencia
07:01Five goals
07:03Integral Park
07:08Brenner
07:10Fighting hard for this one but Luca Vacchio gets a crossover
07:13And that is a brilliant save
07:14Almost an own goal
07:17From Moreira
07:18Lucas Franca
07:21Has had very little to do but this was
07:23A fantastic bit of keeping
07:25Emmanuel Moreira
07:27Almost turning the ball into his own net
07:29And then
07:3120-24
07:34Again
07:35In the second tier with Santa Clara
07:38Thiago Ribeiro threw on goal all of a sudden
07:40And he tried to square it
07:44Surely
07:44Thiago
07:45Could have had a go himself here
07:48Lovely first touch
07:49Tao intercepting
08:01Prestiani away down the left
08:04Can he pick the right pass
08:06He certainly can
08:11There's two star players for Benfica this season
08:15Combining
08:17And Pavlidis with 17 in all competitions now
08:22And Pavlidis with 17 in all competitions now
08:26He's barely
08:27In the top flight this season
08:29His 50th in the Portuguese league
08:33Since joining Benfica
08:34His movement was good
08:37Prestiani
08:38Prestiani's set up was even better
08:41The Argentine with the assist
08:43Pavlidis
08:44With the all-important equaliser
08:47Santa Clara
08:48Santa Clara won
08:53Cabaco with the deep corner this time
08:55Poor one
08:56Benfica wants a penalty here
09:03Well placed
09:04We'll see what happened here
09:08We'll see what happened here
09:08There was a bit of contact
09:10Lucas Suarez
09:11Lucas Suarez
09:12On bar
09:18Tiago
09:21Lucas Suarez
09:23Has options
09:24Has a shot
09:25On target
09:37Now his header on
09:39Look back here
09:41And Prestiani
09:44And Luca Prestiani again
09:46He's going to do it
09:46All along
09:47What a turnaround
09:54And what a season he's having
09:59Ten goals in all competitions
10:04And that
10:08I think that's okay
10:11Luca back here
10:15He's got the pass to Prestiani
10:17And then
10:18A bit of confusion
10:22A bit of confusion
10:32It's a decent free kick but Suarez watching it all
10:35So that repair work required
10:40For Ferreira
10:41The Santa Clara midfielder
10:4411 against 10 for now
10:47Shelled it up
10:48Duran
10:49Need to score with his first touch
10:53There was Jaco
10:54I had a penalty
11:02Helped Owen
11:03But
11:04Cleared away
11:05Auchnes
11:08Returned with interest
11:11What a strike this was
11:13The crowd haven't had
11:18too much to cheer about to encourage them in the last few minutes it's a
11:24dangerous free kick and it has bounced over the top they're claiming a penalty
11:28here defensive midfielder
11:35from way out just why
11:48look a back here and running offside
11:54bad effort in the end
12:10free kick is deflected
