Wildlife Rescuer Extracts Fishhook from Swan's Beak and Rehabilitates It

A wildlife rescuer responded to a report regarding a swan with a fishhook entangled beneath its beak. In spite of the bird's considerable size and weight, she courageously captured it and transported it to a veterinarian with whom she collaborates regularly. The hook was embedded deeply, but with the veterinarian's assistance, they successfully extracted it from the bird. The operation proved to be demanding, yet the collaborative effort between the rescuer and the veterinarian facilitated a successful outcome. After ensuring the swan was free from the hook and assessed for additional injuries, the rescuer returned it to its natural habitat at the pond.
