00:09So let's start making our Prezi document from scratch and then set a custom background.
00:15So for that, I'm going to go over here and click on new Prezi.
00:19And once I do that, I'll get the template option right here.
00:24So for my Prezi, I want to start blank.
00:26Everything from scratch. So I'm going to go into the general section right here and I'm going to choose blank
00:32template.
00:33Once I do that, you can see that you see that there's the preview button right here.
00:41I'm just going to use this template just like that.
00:44Alright, so use this template over here.
00:46So once you do that, the template will load up.
00:51And there you go. So it has been loaded up right here.
00:54So right now, I want to rename this.
00:56So I'm going to say that this is Tutor Tube Scratch because I made this from scratch.
01:03And I want to do everything from scratch right here.
01:06So you can see that there's blank template and subtitles over here.
01:09I can simply delete all of it and everything is from scratch itself.
01:14So for the background, you can simply go to the background and theme option right here.
01:19So you can see that if you were to click this, it'll actually appear over here.
01:22So you can go over here, choose from its free images.
01:25So you can search from its images right here and choose one from here.
01:29Or you can upload your custom image right here.
01:32So I'm going to do just that and upload a custom image.
01:35I'm also going to show how to use this.
01:38So over here, let me just click open.
01:40And over here, let me go to my Tutor Tube folder right here.
01:43And I'm going to open up my Tutor Tube.
01:46So let's say I want this file right here.
01:50I'm just going to press open and it is going to load it out just like that.
01:54And you can see that the background has been set now and Tutor Tube is there.
01:58So it's loading the full resolution right here.
02:01So it loads up everything.
02:02And now you can see it loads up.
02:03So if I were to zoom in, you can see that this actually fits over here.
02:08If you have other images, for example, which does not fit in the background,
02:12you can actually do that as well.
02:14Let me just revert back to original and so that it actually moves out the picture right here.
02:19Let me just go over here and then choose a full size image.
02:22And let's see if the image is not in 16 by 9.
02:26Let's see what happens.
02:27So I'm going to the Tutor Tube folder right here.
02:29And let me go over here into my files, my images, my pictures right here.
02:35And let me see like if I can choose this.
02:38So let me just click out this one right here.
02:40And let's see what.
02:41Let me just close down the presenter view right here.
02:44All right.
02:45So you can see that it actually loads up.
02:47But what happens is that you can see that everything actually goes out above.
02:52So you can see that if I were to zoom out, it is in the 16 by 9 area.
02:56But the background image, it is actually covering up more area right here.
03:01Sometimes it is a good thing because when you zoom in, you want those area to be seen.
03:05And you do not just want them plain old just like that.
03:09So if you have 16 by 9, it will only cover up this area.
03:12But if you have a picture with size like more than that, then it will actually adjust it like this.
03:18So that is how you can simply set the backgrounds.
03:20You can also remove it and set custom background colors over here according to what you want.
03:24So you can also set the color palette and everything else over here.
03:28So you can see that these are the five colors being used for the theme right here.
03:32You can give it back to original.
03:33And if you want to use the ones that are free, if you pay for premium, then you can access
03:38these premium images right here.
03:40In my case, I'm going to choose this one right here.
03:42So let me just click and it will load up the picture right there out in the canvas right there.
03:48So it's loading out the picture as you can see.
03:51And it loads up.
03:54And there you go.
03:55So the picture is there.
03:56And it got the canvas from over here itself.
04:00And you can see that some of the edges are actually there, which is actually quite normal.
04:03And you want it to be cropped because when you zoom in, you do not want to see the edges.
04:09Alright.
04:09So that is how you can set a background image inside of Prezi.
