00:00.
00:04Begin with SG4, then Shrenganu.
00:08Senator Moustakim from Nikkei, Asia.
00:12There's a lot of infrastructure projects planned in the four states.
00:18How exactly are you funding the infrastructure itself?
00:22You know, is it through borrowing state debt or federal money for private investors?
00:27And what's the update on financing these projects?
00:30Yeah, I mean, we look at the model of what we practice in Malaysia since our independence.
00:37Always the infrastructure for the jurisdiction of the federal.
00:42But the federal alone cannot work, cannot identify the project, the proper infrastructure project
00:47unless it has been pointed out by the state government.
00:52So we need a good discussion between the state government and federal.
00:55To identify which infrastructure project become the priority for the states.
01:03And likewise, the federal government also need to understand why there are certain specific infrastructure projects become a priority for
01:11the state.
01:12And they need to give away or give a priority in identifying to make it under a mission plan or
01:20under a rolling plan.
01:22So I think this is going to be a key issue that we are struggling with with the federal.
01:28Sometimes our priority is not their priority and this is where I think we need finally, it will answer the
01:36problem that we have with the federal.
01:38Between the state and federal relations.
01:41The more room for the state to decide which one is the priority should be given to the state rather
01:46than federal.
01:46And this is not happening now.
01:48I think this is going to be a key point that we are going to change when we take, we
01:52come into,
01:52should we come into power after G16 so that state can decide by themselves more freedom to decide other than
02:02what's happening now.
02:05And where we are going, which is
02:07It could be our response to justice for the state that should not be recognized as the state.
02:08Firstly, I notice both maps to fight against MARTINS and Secretary of chez
02:11or protecting us from Ukraine as the state.
02:15Thank you very much.
