00:00Bueno, señoras y señores, tenemos más negocios que transacten aquí.
00:04La WCW Champions va a estar en la línea.
00:08La Champions, Booker Team, contra el People's Champion, The Rock.
00:13Y este tema realmente escaló cuando The Rock regresó y declaró lo que fue su hogar.
00:19¿Quién The Rock regresa a la WWF?
00:21¿O le tome el alianz?
00:23The Rock, that's Rock Bottom, Vince McMahon.
00:26Rock Bottom, Rock Bottom, o Shane McMahon.
00:28Finally, The Rock has come back to the WWF.
00:37Yes, yes, The Rock has come home.
00:40The Rock was born in the WWF and The Rock will never leave the WWF.
00:45The Rock didn't come back to the WWF for Vince McMahon.
00:49Vince McMahon didn't make The Rock.
00:51Hell, The Rock didn't even make The Rock.
00:54The people make The Rock.
00:57And as gone as The Rock's witness, The Rock will forever be the people's champion.
01:07Who in the blue hell are you?
01:11My name is Butcher.
01:13It doesn't matter what your name is.
01:15Tell me, you did not just say that.
01:20This man right here, Booker G, is the WCW champion.
01:24I came out here tonight to challenge your poke-ass to match at SummerSlam.
01:30Booker G, you want to go one-on-one with the great one at SummerSlam?
01:36Allow The Rock to think for one second.
01:40Well, congratulations.
01:41Because you're going one-on-one with the great one at SummerSlam.
01:47The Rock returns the pay-per-view SummerSlam.
01:51The Rock could be the next WCW champion.
01:55Can you smell it?
01:57Can you feel it?
01:58He's been known for months.
02:00But The Rock is back.
02:02And he's WWF all the way.
02:05I'm the WCW champion, sucker.
02:08Booker T, quickly on top.
02:10I'm the people's champion.
02:10I'm going to take this poke-ass straight to school.
02:15Booker T is dominating The Rock.
02:18Booker T just gave The Rock.
02:20The Rock bottom.
02:21Look out.
02:22Rock bottom.
02:23Rock bottom.
02:24Rock bottom.
02:25Rock bottom.
02:26Oh, that's the book end.
02:28Now, can't you dig that, sucker?
02:31Booker T sending a long, physical, lasting message to the people's champion.
02:38Nothing.
02:38And The Rock needs nothing.
02:42It's going to stop the real people's self from playing the smackin' down on The Rock's 10-8.
02:51The Rock will not forget.
02:53The Rock will be a SummerSlam.
02:55And by God, he's coming from Booker T's ass.
02:58The Rock is going to walk in SummerSlam.
03:00The Rock is going to walk out WCW champion.
03:06Tonight, you're going home with The Rock's black boot shut right up your ass.
03:11And we are looking live into the locker rooms of The Alliance on your left.
03:15The WWF on your right.
03:17The time is now to settle this.
03:20Can you dig it, sucker?
03:32The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the WCW Championship.
03:39Introducing first, accompanied by the owner of WCW, Shane McMahon.
03:43From Houston, Texas, weighing 251 pounds, the WCW champion, Booker T.
03:50The WCW champion, in my opinion, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment today.
04:00The master of the Spinner Rooney Booker T.
04:05Now, can you dig that, sucker?
04:09I'll tell you one thing.
04:10The guy's a great athlete.
04:12He's a hell of a competitor in the ring.
04:14But I don't think I can agree with this Spinner Rooney business being the most electrifying move in sports entertainment.
04:22But you certainly have a right to your opinion.
04:24I know this.
04:25Booker T. has never been in an environment like SummerSlam.
04:29He has never defended the WCW title against an opponent, in my view, the caliber of The Rock.
04:35So we'll find out what kind of man the book is here tonight.
04:41Well, The Rock is going to find out tonight exactly what the book is cooking.
04:50Please come up with something original.
04:54I'm begging you.
04:55You've got to quit that begging thing.
04:57The next thing is...
04:57If you smash the Rock is cooking.
05:05The challenger from Miami Colorado, playing through it with 75 pounds, Blue Goods.
05:13Fans around the world got to be on their feet.
05:16But they are here to San Jose.
05:19As Shane McMahon, it rings out high.
05:21With a very concerned and breathfully so.
05:25Look on his face.
05:28And he shams it there.
05:31Shane McMahon takes the Rock very, very seriously.
05:36As well he should.
05:39And we should all applaud the book for being willing to the fact that WCW title against Natalie, the caliber
05:48of the world.
05:50What a great champion is Booker T.
05:53He is indeed a great champion.
05:55But how great.
05:58He will be measured with Booker T by the returning Rock.
06:02The Rock back on pay-per-view.
06:04The Rock has been gone from pay-per-view since April 1st at WrestleMania.
06:11The WWF tonight, by my scorecard, ahead.
06:16Four matches to two-fall.
06:18Oh yes!
06:19If you count victories versus losses, the WWF is ahead 42.
06:23But if you count fulfilling your objective, it's an even three-to-three.
06:29The coach Kurt Angle did not leave the WWF champion.
06:34He's done like Connors and Gary Condon making excuses.
06:37And the Rock in by the Rock.
06:38The Rock in Booker T.
06:39This one may not be pretty either.
06:41It is for the WCW title.
06:43The first time the Rock has ever competed for that.
06:46And the Rock, the champion man just dropped down the champion man.
06:49There's a Rock leaping out of the ring.
06:52There's a score to settle for the co-owner of the Alliance.
06:55And the Rock led right back into the ring where Booker T was ready for the physicality.
07:02And oh!
07:03The Rock reverses Booker T.
07:04There's one shape.
07:06Samoan's Rock.
07:07Samoan's Rock.
07:07The leg is hooked.
07:09And here we go.
07:10There's a near-fall conversion of the man.
07:11Early advantage by the Rock.
07:13The Rock is so explosive.
07:15But the Rock has never met a man quite like the Book either.
07:20Booker T. reversing the Rock and buries the knee deep into the abdomen.
07:24The WCW champion has got to take advantage of every single opportunity.
07:28Because this crowd, big time, pro-Rock.
07:32You're seeing McMahon going for the whole ride.
07:34You shouldn't have been on the apron of the ring anyway.
07:37But be that as of May, Booker T. still affirming his advantage in this championship match.
07:42And now the Book wearing down the Rock.
07:45And the people can chant the Rock's name.
07:48But it's up to the Rock to fight back against Booker T.
07:53Booker T with a knife bench chock.
07:55Should not waste any time.
07:56And the Rock reverses it.
07:58And the Rock is laying the snap down.
08:01But Booker T. quickly cuts off that right-handed offense.
08:08All right.
08:09Go find by the Rock.
08:10Found its mark.
08:12Rock coming with a lot of heavy artillery here.
08:14A lot of high-impact stuff.
08:15You've got to bring everything you've got against Booker.
08:17But pretty predictable here.
08:19A cradle and a near-fall.
08:22And the Rock using a maneuver that we have not seen him utilize a great deal.
08:27I'm not sure Booker T. has done either.
08:28The Rock better pull out all stops.
08:30He's in the ring with the WCW champion.
08:34Oh, Booker T. got his foot right in the Rock's face.
08:36And Booker T. knocking down the people's champion, the challenger, for the WCW championship.
08:42There the leg is up.
08:43We have a lateral press.
08:44And referee Charles Robinson found a two-count on that exchange.
08:48The Book to his feet first.
08:50The Book stalking the challenger.
08:53And the Rocks.
08:55Thank Grandfather High Chief Peter Maivia.
08:58He's going to campaign this area, the Bay Area, on many occasions.
09:02He's got to be looking on from wrestler heaven.
09:05And Booker T. sidestep, taking over the top.
09:07And the Rock now.
09:09Back to the advantage.
09:10But the Rock cannot win by count-out or disqualification.
09:14And we are so bitterly being reaffirmed and learned again when the Austin Angle match best moments ago.
09:22Again, the WWF championship.
09:25Go, go, go.
09:28Booker T.
09:30Getting very familiar with our announce table.
09:34And the announce table is not reciprocated.
09:42Behind the table, this is...
09:47And that was a...
09:48I couldn't see that.
09:50Was that a low blow?
09:50Yes, it was a low blow, and you did see it.
09:53You don't even look at your own.
09:54You can see it play this day.
09:56All right.
09:57I may have missed that one.
09:59You didn't miss it.
10:00You saw it with your own blue eyes.
10:02And the Booker T, to his credit, driving the Rocks in, into the rim stitch.
10:08Lucas upset about the fact that the WCS title is still in the camp of the Alliance.
10:14And if the Book, when the Book defeats the Rocks, so will the WCS title remain with the Alliance.
10:21And the Rock just got dropped.
10:23And you see the result.
10:24Dropped for all the security.
10:27Shane McMahon doing a lot of coaching here.
10:30And a cover for the Rock right there.
10:33What goes around, comes it out.
10:36Rock Henry to the outside.
10:38Rock Green.
10:39Booker T, the WCS champion.
10:42With that championship outstanding.
10:45And the Rock fires back up with a right hand.
10:49Rock coming over.
10:50What he's got?
10:52And Rock is the ball.
10:54Into the clothes on him.
10:56Into the concrete.
10:58Tremendous physicality by the five-time ring, WCW champion, Booker T.
11:05Rock right here, much as we saw in the WWF championship match.
11:10Before Kurt Angle got shafted.
11:12A referee allowing a lot of leeway here.
11:14A lot of leniency.
11:16It's a judgment day.
11:17You can look at a lot of different ways.
11:19But I'd rather have a winner.
11:22I'd rather have a pinballer submission than some kissing your sister conclusion of this immense of this magnitude.
11:29I'm not from Oklahoma, so I know nothing about kissing my sister.
11:33But this much I do know.
11:35Booker T is getting the hell out of the way.
11:38Indeed he is.
11:39I cannot dispute that.
11:40Booker T rising to the occasion here.
11:45Elevating a rock on the outside from no man's land right back here near the ringside area.
11:54And again, the referee is not even thinking about counting out either man.
11:58But quite frankly, I cannot argue with.
12:03Why don't you get him in the ring and wrestle a man?
12:08And a rock firing up.
12:10Booker T trying to grandstand.
12:12Oh, the rock's head and shoulder just bounced off that fateful ring post that still has Kurt Angle's blood stained
12:19on it.
12:20The physical dominance being displayed by Booker T is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
12:27Well, I've got to agree that Booker T is taking a toll of Shane McMahon doing it.
12:34Shane McMahon is up on the apron.
12:38Shane McMahon did something that popped him up.
12:40Why don't we loosened it, adjusted it, I don't know for sure.
12:44And a rock just down there south on the security wall.
12:47And Booker T is showing that he is not intimidated, that he matches up.
12:52It's really.
12:53And that's another statement with a challenge.
12:55Booker T is putting his superiority over the rock, much like the Alliance is dominating the WWF.
13:04Well, the battle for sports entertainment superiority still is hanging over our collective heads.
13:11And Booker T is carrying the rock.
13:13And the rock, as we all know, is fighting right there.
13:17He will hunk.
13:19Well, he had to lay down.
13:20He got knocked down.
13:21He's a challenger.
13:22And Booker T now looking for the cover.
13:24He reaches back.
13:25Bucks the leg.
13:26And go.
13:26No, he didn't get three.
13:28He got a two count.
13:29Shane McMahon wanted three.
13:31No doubt Booker T did as well.
13:32Shane McMahon is protecting his investment.
13:35Shane McMahon is making sure that the Book keeps the title in the camp of the Alliance.
13:42Shane McMahon made his presence felt in the second match of the night.
13:45When he helps screw the Acolytes in that six-man tag team match, he allowed Pest and the Bentleys to
13:51win the contest.
13:52We are one Spinner Rooney away from a successful title defense by Booker T.
13:58My God, I'm begging you guys to come up with a better name than Spinner Rooney.
14:02It sounds like something delicious Chef Boyardee would make.
14:06And the rock fighting back with the right hand.
14:08And another right hand.
14:09But Booker T again.
14:11Counters.
14:11Can't connect.
14:12But does.
14:13As the rock came back around, Booker T made a great adjustment and knocked the rock right off his feet.
14:19And the Booker T now looking to put the challenger away.
14:23The lead hook, the lateral press, and another near fall.
14:27Hey, the rock is great.
14:28He is called the great one for a reason.
14:31Do you think Booker T would defend the WCW title against anyone else but the great one?
14:37Of course not.
14:38Booker T is here to establish that he's not only a great champion, but that he truly is the most
14:44electrifying man in sports entertainment.
14:48I agree that Booker T is a great champion.
14:51I think it's accepted that he is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment.
14:55However, if Booker T can defeat the rock here tonight, he takes a large step in establishing that for real.
15:02Next thing you're going to tell me is the Spinner Rooney is not the most electrifying move in sports entertainment.
15:07It's simply nauseous from my perspective.
15:10Of course from your perspective, because he's wiping out the WWF.
15:14As we speak, the rock is going down.
15:16If you have just wiped out by the Spinner Rooney, then by God, we deserve to be wiped out.
15:21And Booker T latching onto that reverse chin lock.
15:25And the rock showing he's still in a fight here.
15:31Booker T stretching the rock out again, posting that back.
15:35And the rock turning into the pressure has been very impressive.
15:40Booker T's game plan thus far.
15:45And the rock, double-o pick up.
15:48And the rock, looking, he's got it.
15:51The short cheater.
15:53Rock using the short cheater.
15:57Booker T in danger of tapping out here.
16:01Shane McMahon on the apron.
16:02Booker T looking for the rope.
16:06And the rock, the rock greatest scene from the apron in.
16:10And Booker T capitalizes on it.
16:12You don't take your attention away from the book.
16:14There's a cover.
16:15The leg hook.
16:16It's going to be.
16:17That's a near call.
16:18It's a near call.
16:19Hey, all props to the great one.
16:21The rock is as great as they come.
16:24The only problem is, he's not as great as Booker T.
16:28Well, that remains to be seen.
16:30I don't agree with that, but, again, you have the right to your opinion.
16:33This match is going to go a long way in determining just how great both these men are.
16:40Well, it's hot by the rock.
16:43Rock's got Booker T in a tough spot here.
16:46And there's the catapult.
16:48And Booker T plays first into the top turnbuckle.
16:51Turnbuckle.
16:52That was that turnbuckle.
16:53Shane loosened up.
16:54There's the DDT.
16:55The DDT.
16:56And a near call.
16:58Shane McMahon loosened that turnbuckle call.
17:00I think it's come back to the bottom.
17:02And there's Rich behind him.
17:05Now, wait a minute.
17:06Shane McMahon just got a steel chair for some perverse reason.
17:11And has laid it on the edge of the ring.
17:13And now he's walking around with that huge WWF championship belt.
17:18Well, it's the WCW title belt.
17:20And the fact of the matter is, is that Shane McMahon is the owner of WCW.
17:25He has a right to hold on to his championship.
17:29Did I say WCW title?
17:30Yes, sir.
17:31That's where my mind was.
17:32And that's my thought.
17:33And Shane McMahon, with the WCW title, the referee's back was turning and putting the chair out.
17:39And Shane just turned off the rocks.
17:42Electricity.
17:43The lights are out.
17:45A big assist from Shane McMahon.
17:48Oh, Shane McMahon, how's it doing?
17:51It's the NPA.
17:52Who's Shane Spoon earlier?
17:55Oh, my God.
17:58How do you do?
18:00Close line from hell.
18:04And the boy billionaire just got to be hit.
18:08And you might want to think that Shane McMahon may not.
18:12May not be an influence in the balance of this contest.
18:15I don't see where the NPA has the right to be involved in this match.
18:20Shane McMahon is the owner of WCW.
18:23He has a right to look after his investment.
18:25Here you go.
18:26Wow.
18:27Bradshaw.
18:28Close line from hell.
18:29This match is none of Bradshaw's business.
18:33And neither was a six-man earlier with Shane.
18:35Book end.
18:35Book end.
18:37Booker T with a rock's rock bottom.
18:39That's what that was.
18:41No, sir.
18:42That's the book end.
18:44Right.
18:45Well, that's your story.
18:46You're sticking to it.
18:47It's a rock bottom where I come.
18:48Cover.
18:49And the arm over.
18:50One.
18:50Three.
18:51And oh, the rock.
18:52He shot that shoulder up with the rock about a half a count away from losing to Booker T.
18:59And Booker T needs to keep his focus.
19:02I understand that Shane McMahon has been wiped out by the APA.
19:06But the book needs to keep focus on the rock.
19:10Rock fighting back.
19:12Big right hand.
19:13But here comes Booker T.
19:15The right hand is blocked.
19:16And the rock again connecting with the right hands.
19:18Booker T is right.
19:20Booker T on Grand Street here.
19:22And the rock playing a smack down on the WCW champion who reverses the rock.
19:29Another hard rock in.
19:31Right hand by the rock.
19:37Down to the belly overhead throw.
19:39The rock hooked in the far lane.
19:41And got a near fall.
19:43And Booker T demonstrates why he's such a great champion.
19:47Despite the fact that Shane McMahon was attacked by the APA.
19:51The book keeps the pressure on the rock.
19:54Boom.
19:55Springbusters.
19:56The rock got the springbusters.
19:58And now, this ain't no Spinner Rooney.
20:02This is a bonafide.
20:04The electrifying move is sports entertainment.
20:08The people's elbow.
20:10To the heart of the champion.
20:14Rock going for the cover.
20:15We got a new champion here.
20:18Shane McMahon interrupted the count with that alliance referee.
20:26Shane McMahon out of sheer desperation.
20:29Just saved the WCW title for Booker T.
20:34And now Shane's going to pay.
20:36No!
20:37By the bottom.
20:38By the bottom on the side side.
20:41A human being spying on the floor.
20:44On the outside.
20:46And the rock fighting back to the right hand.
20:50Did tie him right.
20:52Booker T almost came out of his boots.
20:57Booker T counters.
20:59Nice move by Booker T.
21:00Countering the rock.
21:02Into a spinebuster of his own.
21:06Rock in a bad way here.
21:09And Booker T in a good way.
21:11The WCW champion.
21:13First to his feet.
21:14Booker T is setting the rock up.
21:17Booker T can smell the victory.
21:21Booker T, the WCW champion.
21:24The care for the advantage here.
21:25Put the rock back to the knee.
21:27Trying to pick his way back up.
21:31Booker T.
21:33And the scissors kick.
21:34Take a new challenge.
21:36Here it comes.
21:37Ladies and gentlemen.
21:38The signal of electrified mood.
21:41It's sports.
21:42And you're taking today.
21:44The spin around me.
21:48And the rock.
21:49The rock did come.
21:50The model.
21:52The model.
21:52The rock got the lead hook.
21:54The rock model.
21:55He did it.
21:56The rock.
21:57The rock's the WCW champion.
22:06The rock came out of nowhere.
22:09The rock came out of nowhere.
22:15The rock is the WCW champion.
22:25The rock's return to pay for you.
22:29That's resulted in the rock becoming the WCW champion.
22:41Shane McMahon tried.
22:44Booker T fought a hell of a fight.
22:47But this night belongs to the returning rock.
22:57The WCW started an idol winning the Intercontinental title.
23:01The Booker T fought.
23:03He's showboated.
23:04The Spinner Rini lost the champion.
23:07I disagree with you.
