00:30It's going to be an update that adds not only a complete new playable region with several new biomes within
00:36it, but it's also going to add a lot of new story elements, including expanding on not only the story
00:41of the colonists, but also the story of the other beings.
00:45It's going to introduce a bunch of new creatures. It's also going to introduce new behavior to the Collector Leviathan,
00:51which we think makes it scarier than ever.
00:53I really think, too, that this is one of our scariest regions we've ever done. It's dark, it's threatening, and
00:59it's really beautiful at the same time. It's an odd juxtaposition.
01:03Of course, one of the highlight features that many of you have already found by digging around in the files
01:09is going to be the Sea Frog Chassis, or the Frog Chassis, as it's actually called in the game.
01:14This is a new buildable chassis for the Tadpole that gives you arms and legs, and gives you lots of
01:21cool new abilities, and I think is really going to change the way the game feels for this region.
01:26We're also going to be introducing a couple of biomods and some gameplay around them. Crucially, we're going to be
01:30adding Dash to Fins, which is a big thing that people have been requesting.
01:35It's no longer going to be a biomod. It's going to be on the fins themselves, so you no longer
01:38have to think about what active biomod do I want to take instead of Dash. You just take Dash.
01:43We're also going to have some new building options, including a round room for your bases, which I think is
01:49going to really change the shape language of the bases and let people make some beautiful new creations.
01:55And we're going to be making a bunch of changes directly based on your EA feedback.
01:59But of course, all that's going to be revealed and more as we make the EA 2 series.
02:04So we're going to be bringing a lot of different team members to talk to you about this. It's not
02:08just going to be me.
02:08You're going to get to hear from level designers, artists, everybody on our team.
02:12We want them to be involved in sharing with you the journey to EA 2.0.
