00:00Okay, so I went down a rabbit hole this week looking for the best budget pickups for building
00:04actual decks, and honestly, I found some wild deals on top 5 Pokemon TCG cards for deck building
00:09that I did not expect. Let's get into them, because a couple of these are genuinely stupid cheap.
00:16First up, the Sun and Moon Booster Box with Lunala and Salgalio on it.
00:21This is the one I'd hand to someone who's just starting to build their first real deck,
00:24because you get a huge spread of trainers and basics to fill out a list,
00:28plus some genuinely fun anime-style art for collectors.
00:31It's going for about $3.43, it's sold almost 5,000 times, and at that price you can grab
00:38two or three boxes and still have money left for sleeves. That's a no-brainer for a starter pool.
00:44Next is Sword and Shield Darkness Ablaze, English version. What I like here is the consistency,
00:50because the set has a solid mix of staples you'll actually keep in a binder and reuse across
00:54multiple decks instead of one-offs you never touch again. It sits at roughly $3.48, which is
01:00basically the same ballpark as the first one, and it's rated a little higher at 4.3 with almost
01:05$4,900 sold. If you want an English printed box that pulls its weight in deck building, this is the
01:11safe pick. Then we jump up in price, and it's worth it. This is the Chinese version 17.5 Radiant
01:19Treasures Booster, and this is the one that surprised me the most, because it's rated 4.9,
01:24which is the highest on this list and honestly kind of rare to see. You're paying about $60,
01:30so it's the premium pick, but you're getting a blind box battle format that's genuinely fun to
01:34open with friends and cards that hold up as collectibles. If you want one box that feels
01:40like an event, this is it. Now, the Umbreon, Eevee, Sylveon, Leafeon and Glacian card set,
01:46which is the cheapest thing here at $3.30. Look, if you're building around Eeveevolutions or you just
01:52love the art, this is a really easy ad, and at that price it's basically a snack. It's rated 4
01:59.7 and
01:59sold over $4,400, so people clearly aren't disappointed. Great little gift, great little
02:05binder filler, and it costs less than a coffee. Last one is the Mega Evolution Chaos Rising Ascended
02:12Heroes Box, English version, and this is my pick if you want newer cards without spending much.
02:17It's $5.53, so still under $6, and it's sold nearly 4,000 copies. The art and the chase cards
02:25are what sell it for me, but it also gives you fresh material to experiment with when your current
02:29deck starts feeling stale. Cheap experiment, low risk, and honestly I'd grab it just to see what
02:35I pull. That's the list, and all the links are in the description below so you can check
02:40the current prices yourself. If this helped you out, drop a like and hit subscribe so I
02:46can keep hunting down these deals for you. See you in the next one.
