00:00Ever finished a soldering session with burning eyes and a headache you can't quite explain?
00:04Yeah, that's Flux Fume, my friend.
00:07So today I'm counting down the top 5 flexible solder fume extractor pipes I dug through all
00:12the listings, found the best deals on each one, and honestly, a couple of these surprised me.
00:18Kicking things off with my personal favorite, this durable POM flexible exhaust pipe.
00:23It comes in 50 or 75mm sizes, and the real start here is the material,
00:28POM shrugs off high temps without warping or going brittle,
00:31which is exactly what you want sitting above a hot iron.
00:34The included hood funnels smoke right into the airflow too.
00:38At $29.43 with a 4.9 rating from nearly 5,000 buyers, it's the sweet spot of price and
00:45quality.
00:46Number 2 is really similar, but with a nice bonus, you get to choose between a square hood or a
00:51round
00:52one, depending on your setup. The square actually covers more of the bench, which I love for bigger
00:57boards. Same tough POM build, stays flexible, and it holds whatever angle you bend it to instead of
01:03drooping. For $27.46 and a 4.8 rating, it's a very easy recommendation.
01:11Coming in third is what I'd call the workhorse. This one's built more like a proper industrial
01:16extraction pipe, thicker walls, a round hood, and it just feels beefier in the hand.
01:21If you're soldering all day, every day, this is the one that won't quit on you.
01:26It's a touch pricier at $32.44, but a 4.7 rating across almost 5,000 sales says people are
01:33keeping
01:33it. Now, if budget is the whole conversation, number 4 is your answer.
01:39At just $23.93, it's the cheapest on the list and wild enough, it's rocking a perfect 5-star rating.
01:47You still get the flexible fume arm with your choice of square or round hood, and honestly,
01:51for hobby soldering a few evenings a week, it does everything the pricier ones do.
01:56And at number 5, the premium pick. This arm extends anywhere from 0.8 to 2 meters,
02:02so it reaches across even a big workbench without you dragging the whole extractor around,
02:07and it comes in black or white to match your space. It's a perfect 5-stars as well.
02:13Yeah, $33.57 is the highest here, but that reach and finish genuinely justify it.
02:20Those are my top 5. Every link is in the description below,
02:24and prices do shift, so grab the one you like while the deal's live.
