00:30Rob Van Dam will be teaming with Jeff Hardy, who's making his way here now.
00:36Introducing his tag team partner from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing in at 218 pounds, Jeff Hardy.
00:45Well, Jeff Hardy is certainly no stranger to tables, ladders, and chairs.
00:50As I said earlier, there's only been three TLC matches in WWE history.
00:55Tonight is the first tables, ladders, and chairs match in the history of Raw.
01:23And making their way to the ring at a combined weight of 460 pounds, Spike and Bubba Ray Dudley.
01:31Bubba Dudley, no stranger to TLC matches, but his little half-butter, Spike, will sing his first TLC action in
01:38the WWE.
01:40And that's the goal, to climb the ladder, take the tag team titles, and leave the WWE tag team champion.
01:49But I promise you, folks, it will not be without a price.
01:54It's your honor, and that's your honor!
02:06And making his way to the ring, winning at 224 pounds, he's one of the members of the Un-American,
02:12Christian!
02:13Christian has been on the winning hand of two of the three TLC matches here in the WWE at SummerSlam
02:21in 2000 and WrestleMania in 2001.
02:24Of course, then, he had his brother, Edge, as his tag team partner, but that's not the case tonight.
02:33Tag team goal awaits the winners here tonight.
02:38And here comes Christian's tag team partner.
03:05This guy is a great athlete, first undefeated champion, but what an egomaniac, earlier tonight.
03:11Booker T defeated the Big Show in our first match, it was a steel cage match.
03:16And out of nowhere, after Booker T wins the match, about the winner of the WWE, there you see Jericho
03:23attacking from behind.
03:24And Jericho, what a, what a pitiful, but boom, right there, the skull of Booker T cracking all that cage.
03:33And making his way to the ring, winning at the WWE, winning at the WWE, winning at the WWE, winning
03:35at the WWE, winning at the WWE, winning at the WWE.
03:41And winning at WWE, winning at WWE, winning at WWE, winning at WWE, winning at WWE, winning at WWE, winning
03:43at WWE.
03:43He is the Intercontinental Champion, and one half of the World Tag Team Champion, T.
03:50Booker T's been taken to a medical facility.
03:54And we'll keep you updated if there's any more updates on Booker T, but I'm wondering,
03:58what's the update on Hurricane Hemp?
04:01Is the Hurricane gonna be physically able to compete here in this tag team match?
04:07After being assaulted by Triple H and Ric Flair, and I guess I just,
04:11answer my own question, and I guess the other question is, where is the king?
04:15And the king is apparently left for the Godfather after winning that,
04:20it's legal in Las Vegas match earlier.
04:23Man, this is gonna be a Wild West show, let me tell you.
04:26There are no discount locations, no count outs, no pinfalls, no submission.
04:31Only one way to win this thing, and that is to survive, physically to survive.
04:36Being mentally tough enough to survive until you can climb the ladder and
04:40retrieve the tag team title belts, which are hanging high above the ring.
04:45There's no championship advantage.
04:47And certainly Kane had a disadvantage in as much as his tag team partner is out of
04:53with the mission apparently.
04:55And here we go, there goes Jericho Christian.
04:57They're coming to the back door here.
05:00But not for long, both Randy shut the back door right in their face.
05:07And it is a every man for himself environment here.
05:12Jericho has been in a TLC match.
05:15Matter of fact, he won one.
05:17Back in May of this year, if my memory serves me correctly, and look at Kane.
05:21He's the Intercontinental Champion.
05:22He beat Jericho last week.
05:24He's a tag team champion, at least for now.
05:27Maybe not for much longer.
05:29And in 13 days, on pay-per-view, he's got a chance to make history by becoming
05:34the world's heavyweight champion.
05:36And holding all three titles a month.
05:38Look at RBD and Jeff Hardy.
05:40They respect Kane.
05:41They're good fans famous.
05:42But it's a real man for himself.
05:44And what a double knockdown.
05:45By the big red machine.
05:47My God, he is big.
05:49He is strong.
05:50And he just imposed his will on RBD and Jeff Hardy.
05:58Kane, two weeks in a row, just got him, Tom.
06:02He has, just for the occasion last week, what an awesome Intercontinental Man.
06:07Kane, kick us out, Kane!
06:09We had with Jericho last week, the week before that, he and the Hurricane
06:14beat the Un-American to the tag team title.
06:16He's been in a row.
06:18And, oh man!
06:19Jeff Hardy, walking the rail.
06:22Running for his life, under the face of Kane.
06:25And now, look at Bubba Dudley.
06:26Bubba Dudley got that ladder.
06:29And, oh, Bubba!
06:31Locking down Jericho and Christian.
06:33Look at these, look like a revolving door.
06:36Bubba's up.
06:37He's a helicopter from Dudleyville.
06:38And I don't think they even got in there for him.
06:41Get kicked right back on the face.
06:43RBD on top!
06:45That's a fabulous mark.
06:46Congress right hand by RBD.
06:48Knocking down Kane.
06:50Still with no tag Kane Parker.
06:52And I'm not sure we're gonna see Hurricane tonight.
06:54And look at this, three men.
06:56Their bodies over the top rope to the floor.
06:59That leaves an opening with up the wall.
07:01In fact, they got a clothesline down by Jericho.
07:04And again, you gotta put the ladder up, climb it.
07:08The ladder can be used as a weapon.
07:09You can't be disqualified here.
07:11I'm sure our general manager loves this environment.
07:14He loves this brutality that he mentioned earlier.
07:19This brutality jackpot, if you will, here in Las Vegas.
07:24Ever since Fischoff got humiliated.
07:28Unforgiven, he has been on a rampage.
07:31Ever since the roster's broke smackdown I'm referring to.
07:34The roster's are frozen.
07:36Nobody can leave now.
07:38Fischoff's trick is not done with the mules.
07:40Look at this.
07:41Left part of your screen here.
07:43Watch this.
07:44Don't spike.
07:45His sternum, his chest.
07:47The tough little son of a gun.
07:49Not even he can withstand that.
07:51And now it's Jericho and Christian.
07:54Double team.
07:56Bubba had a different idea.
07:59Bubba Dudley, the most honor tag team champion in the history of this company.
08:03With a little kick-off and ply action.
08:06Chris Jericho, the egomaniac, the first ever Undisputed Champion.
08:10What's going here again tonight?
08:12In the form of the tag team title.
08:17Man, he's 6'10 and a half, 325.
08:21Flying off that top turnbuckle, right in the face.
08:23Right in the face of the men.
08:26And now Bubba Dudley bringing that ladder in.
08:29You gotta have the ladder in place.
08:33To be able to retrieve those tag belts.
08:35And Bubba using that ladder on Kane.
08:37Every team for himself.
08:39If you call Kane a one-man team.
08:44And now, look at this.
08:47Bubba, taking off that ladder.
08:49And Kane now will load up the 300 pounder with a toe slam.
08:55Kane is trying to survive.
08:57And look at the little spike.
08:58He's a game little son of a gun.
09:02Back of his shirt tells the story of this little competitor in this company.
09:12He's got the power here.
09:14The strength.
09:16Kane is getting back over the top.
09:18Right on the face of RVD.
09:21And now Jericho.
09:23Jericho has retrieved another ladder.
09:25And just rammed it in the face of Kane.
09:32Kane being taken down aggressively.
09:34I'm still wondering what the game meant.
09:37He said that Kane's life will never be the same.
09:39After tonight.
09:42Maybe this is what the game the world's tent was referring to.
09:47Again, tables, ladders, and chairs.
09:49They're all legal.
09:51There are no disqualifications.
09:53You do anything that you're man enough to do.
09:56That you're man enough to survive.
09:58That you're willing to put your body through in this match.
10:04Kane has been spreading on that table.
10:07What the hell, Alicia?
10:09A little Van Dam.
10:11Van Dam, as we have seen so many times.
10:15Putting his body on the line.
10:17Shattered his own kidneys and lower back there.
10:20But he took Christian and Jericho out of the equation, at least for the moment.
10:26And now Jeff Hardy.
10:27That chair shot on Kane again.
10:30It's every man for himself.
10:32And my God, the bodies.
10:34The theme that these men are putting their bodies.
10:38The hell, I'm mesmerized.
10:41Look at Jeff Hardy, those ladders.
10:43And Kane is still getting deep down on that table.
10:45Jeff Hardy's coming to the top.
10:47My God.
10:49They're outside the ring.
10:50Jeff Hardy.
10:53Dropping Kane.
10:55Driving through that table.
10:57Good God almighty.
10:59How badly would these eight men want to be tag team champions?
11:05I'm sure our general manager has got to be loving this.
11:09These men literally beating the hell out of each other.
11:12There's carnage all over the ring.
11:14Jericho knocked down.
11:16Bebba looking for the title.
11:18We gotta take a break.
11:21We're telling me we got one more commercial break to take.
11:24But don't do it now.
11:26Please don't do it now.
11:27Bebba.
11:28Bebba may win the tag titles.
11:29He's climbing to the top.
11:31The tag team goal almost within his reach.
11:35But there's Christian.
11:36And what a power bomb.
11:38My God, it looks like a car wreck.
11:40There's bodies laying everywhere.
11:42Bodies everywhere.
11:43We'll be back.
11:46We are back live in Las Vegas ladies and gentlemen.
11:50And this is the deadest physicality I think I've ever seen.
11:53The accident of commercial break was absolutely off the page.
11:57A 14 table slatters and chairs match.
12:00The first ever on Raw for the tag team title.
12:04Still no hurricane hounds for Kane.
12:07Kane's partner taken out by Triple H and Ric Flair before this match started.
12:12And look at Van Damme.
12:14Van Damme and Bubba Dudley and Jericho.
12:19They're in a race to gain possession of the tag team titles.
12:24And that's what it takes to win this match.
12:26There's no pitfalls, no submissions, no disqualifications.
12:29Anything goes.
12:31My God, what a bulldog.
12:33Off the top of that ladder.
12:35Garipo drowning with his face.
12:38And the netbreaker.
12:40Van Damme with a netbreaker off the ladder.
12:43Good God the carnies.
12:46The mythicality here is simulating.
12:49These men putting their bodies through hell.
12:52Look at this.
12:54It was Christian by RBD.
12:56I had it wrong there.
12:58It was two bodies flying from the ladder.
13:01Crashing to the canvas.
13:02And little Spike, little Spike may go through the back door here.
13:05Little Spike may have a chance to win it for the Dudleys.
13:09And Christian, pull us back off that ladder.
13:13And Kane, he was decimated by that lead rock by Jeff Hardy.
13:17That's where Kane threw a table before he went to the commercial break.
13:20And Kane is still down on the outside of the ring.
13:23It is anybody's match for the Covenant Tag Team Championship.
13:28And I guarantee you, it is live.
13:30And when it's live, you know you're watching Raw on Monday night.
13:35There it is, the prize.
13:36That's what they're putting their bodies through absolute hell.
13:40It is wrestling purgatory for these four teams.
13:44Tables, ladders, and chairs.
13:46These fans, so many of them standing before we went to break,
13:51during the commercial break.
13:53I can only imagine, only imagine the pain that must be wracking the bodies
14:00of all seven of these men.
14:04And Van Damme, the laid back, an orthodox one.
14:08He ain't laid back right now.
14:10He's fighting for tag team titles, but so is Christian.
14:15Christian, as I said earlier, he and his brother Edge won two of the three TLC matches
14:19in this company's history.
14:21Jericho won the other.
14:22They've got a TLC All-Star team going here.
14:25Christian climbing up.
14:26And Kane is back.
14:27The big red machine is back in the ring.
14:30And my.
14:33Christian's traveling up top rope.
14:35And there's Jeff Hardy.
14:37And Jeff Hardy got muscled right back by Kane with a power slam.
14:43A power slam that you can hear at Caesar's palace.
14:47And a heart out of his mouth.
14:49And Kane now, almost beheading the courageous young Jeff Hardy.
14:53But Hardy's body, been treated like a rag dog.
14:58And now the big red machine, who has had the fight to survive in this match,
15:04all by himself.
15:05Thanks to the Game and Flair, taking out Pearl Kane Helms, and the Intercontinental
15:10Champion, and Tag Champion.
15:12And look at little Spike.
15:14How much does he wanna be the Tag Champion?
15:16He's a game little son of a gun.
15:19He won.
15:20Good Lord.
15:21That was a man's skull.
15:24Ricocheting off a steel ladder.
15:26And guess who won?
15:33And Kane, you talk about an aggressive son of a gun.
15:36And through the chair.
15:38It is called tables, ladders, and chairs for a game.
15:42For a damn good reason.
15:43And they're all legal.
15:46What a shot there.
15:49And Ben Tan, spinning heel kick, knocking down Jericho.
15:55Bubba Dudley, still really with that chair shot,
15:57right to the back of his head.
15:59Jeff Hardy, somehow, by God, is back in there.
16:02And Jeff Hardy, unsuspecting teamwork from Bubba Dudley,
16:09a vintage Hardy tag team move.
16:12Remember, RDD and Jeff Hardy are tag team partners.
16:15My God, you gotta be kidding me.
16:18Van Damme, is he thinking about going coast to coast, border to border here?
16:25Van Terminator, Kane ain't that steel chair.
16:30He ate the steel chair to Kane.
16:32And Van Damme punished himself.
16:35Take a look at this.
16:37Bam!
16:38Right on my mouth.
16:40He ate every damn bit of that chair.
16:42Border to border with Van Damme, and he hurt himself.
16:47My God, what a match.
16:49What a match.
16:50And we're seeing it live.
16:52Front face locked by Jericho, trying to suplex Jeff Hardy.
16:57No doubt on that steel ladder.
16:59But Jeff Hardy turns it, reverses it, and then Jericho.
17:02How do you land on that without ruining your lower back,
17:06without splattering your kidneys?
17:08Somebody tell me at home, how do you do it?
17:12How in God's name are they?
17:14Look at this.
17:15Jericho's lower back, right across that hole.
17:18That whole deep hole ladder.
17:22The bodies, the carnage, the ladders, and chairs, the tables.
17:27And the tag titles are still hanging in the balance.
17:31And that's what these seven men are here for.
17:38I guarantee you, I don't know who's going to win,
17:40but whoever does, damn sure deserves to be the tag team champion.
17:47And now it's Jeff Hardy.
17:48He and his brother, Matt, five times tagged him.
17:52But Jeff has never done it without his brother at his side.
17:56Will tonight be that match?
18:00Well, this is not Las Vegas, we'll never forget.
18:02And Bubba Dudley, the 300 pounder, back in the mix.
18:07But Jeff Hardy, his body in Texas, been punished.
18:14And had a hard time navigating up the ladder.
18:17And Bubba not doing Jeff any favors.
18:20The football now, Jeff Hardy and Bubba Dudley, the Dudleys and the Hardys.
18:26My God, you gotta be kidding me.
18:28Somebody called the MPs.
18:31A superplex off the top of the ladder.
18:36A superplex from the top over to the canvas.
18:43Folks, look at this.
18:44Take a look at this angle.
18:46This is sick.
18:48This is sick.
18:50God, good God.
18:53It's hard to watch this.
18:55It's hard to witness this.
18:57What these seven Raw Superstars are putting themselves through for
19:02becoming a Tag Team Champions.
19:05Or any titles.
19:07Including the world titles.
19:08Who are going through hell and showing your career.
19:12Your wrestling lifespan.
19:14To become the Tag Team Champions.
19:16You've got Van Damme now.
19:19RBD.
19:21RBD can touch it.
19:22He can feel the gold.
19:24And Bubba Dudley with a rush of adrenaline.
19:28Trying to get right back in it.
19:31And Bubba with the right hands.
19:32But Bubba down in pain.
19:37Bubba down in just absolute fatigue.
19:40And look at these human beings.
19:43Look at these men on this night and their careers.
19:47But they, or none of us, will never forget.
19:50And by God, look like it's that equal menial.
19:53Chris Jericho, the self-professed king of the world.
19:57A rock star.
19:58To win this Tag Team title.
20:01But it looks like that's what he's gonna do.
20:03He just says Spike now.
20:04There's nobody to stop Jericho.
20:07But little Spike is trying to, he's trying to get involved.
20:12By God, he's trying to get involved.
20:15My God, my God, my God, my God.
20:18Jericho, off the ladder, over the top, all the way to the floor.
20:27But that is the damnedest thing I've ever seen in TLC.
20:33Take another look, Jericho, touching the gold.
20:36Good God Almighty.
20:41For the love of anything that's seen.
20:46And now Spike.
20:53The smallest man in the match.
20:55But he may have the biggest heart and the most guts.
20:58It may be his night.
21:00This may be Spike Dudley's night.
21:08And how could you, how could you not love that?
21:12The littlest dog in the fight.
21:15One more run, little man.
21:17You've almost got it.
21:19And there's a damn question.
21:21Jericho's back down.
21:22This fight, fighting like he was 350 pounds.
21:25And put the Dudley Dog to take off the table, the table.
21:31The little guy was thrown to the table.
21:34Looking for the Dudley Dog.
21:36And the little fellow was so close, he was inches away.
21:40And the Dudley's won again.
21:43Look at this.
21:45This is sick.
21:46This is sick and traverse.
21:48But this is live Raw.
21:51This is precious creation.
21:53This is our beloved General Manager's creation.
22:01This is unbelievable.
22:04Unbelievable competition.
22:06The will to win.
22:08The will to compete before this audience, before you at home, is overwhelming.
22:14I challenge you to compare with anywhere, in any walk in life.
22:19What these men are doing here tonight.
22:23The brutality jackpot.
22:27We'll never forget that term in Las Vegas.
22:32And now the rosters have been frozen.
22:34Nobody can leave.
22:36You put up with this, Josh, BS, or you can go find something else to do for a living.
22:43This crowd has been on its feet for the last several minutes.
22:48And Christian now.
22:50Christian, he's touching on the bench.
22:52He's got one of the title books.
22:53And Bubba Dudley.
22:54Boy, Christian almost had it.
22:57And Bubba up there.
22:58Bubba Bomb!
22:59Bubba Bomb!
23:00Bubba Bomb!
23:01From him to be 15 feet in the air.
23:03Bubba Bomb!
23:05Bubba Dudley!
23:07Bubba and Christian are both hurt.
23:09And now Van Damme is out.
23:11Van Damme is out.
23:13What the hell is Van Damme gonna do now?
23:15And it's the Firestar.
23:17Van Damme with the Firestar.
23:19Trying to take Christian completely out of the equation.
23:23And Jeff Hardy, the Daredevil, from Cameron, North Carolina.
23:28He wants it bad.
23:30It's hot time, but nobody there.
23:36For the love of God.
23:38And Jeff Hardy just got back on the top through a table.
23:43The human anatomy is not built in this sort of punishment.
23:48This is real.
23:51And Dominator by RVD right in the face of Bubba Dudley.
23:56And now RVD's got the opportunity here.
23:59Jeff Hardy, look at this.
24:00Listen.
24:01But the human body, they put the table.
24:04Watch this.
24:06His lower back.
24:09The table exploded.
24:10And maybe so did.
24:12And maybe so did Jeff Hardy's body.
24:15Van Damme up.
24:16Van Damme's got it.
24:17And Van Damme touching the goal.
24:19But the skill chair doing more than touching Van Damme's back.
24:23Tables, ladders, and chairs.
24:26Las Vegas.
24:27Raw roulette.
24:28Will you ever forget this night?
24:31Look at Jericho.
24:33We're gonna stay here as long as it takes to get a winner.
24:37My God, look at this.
24:39Van Damme getting stretched from the top of that ladder.
